GUEST SUITES
The King Bed Suite envelops you in elegant comfort as you drift off to the soothing sound of ocean waves. Featuring an en-suite bathroom with amenities, air conditioning, a fan, a TV, and a chic dressing area.
The Queen Bed Suite is a cozy haven ensuring a restful night's sleep and breathtaking sunrise views. Featuring an en-suite bathroom with amenities, air conditioning, a fan, a TV, and balcony access.
We provide you with a starter kit of bathroom amenities. For extended stays, additional supplies can be purchased at nearby pharmacies or supermarkets.
As you enter the condo the entryway has games, books, and other amenities for your use. The living room is equipped with tasteful furniture and the dining room is furnished with a dining table for four and access to the balcony. You can enjoy a home-cooked meal from the fully equipped kitchen with a coffee station, 4-burner stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, pots and pans, utensils, knives, glasses, and baking dishes.
RESERVATIONS: Third party reservations are not permitted. You must be 24+ years of age to make the reservation and must be the registered guest. Property is for vacation rental use only registered guests. All reservations require a minimum of three-night (3) stay. Holidays and long weekends (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Semana Santa, Spring Break, etc.) may require a four-night (4) minimum stay. Please contact the Host prior to booking. No shows will be charged the entire stay and no refund will be issued. Shorten stays due to weather, work/family emergencies or other conditions do not warrant a refund.
OCCUPANCY: The property has a maximum occupancy of five (5) people. If you violate this rule, we will be forced to cancel your reservation with no refunds, and you will have to leave the property. A valid photo ID for every guest staying on the property must be submitted to Host two days prior to check-in.
BUILDING AMENITIES: In the building lobby, you will find a small library, a recreation room, a gym, a coin laundry area, access to the Olympic-sized pool, and to the beach. There is also a small convenience store for any essentials and a gift shop.
IMPORTANT NOTES
RENOVATIONS: Condado del Mar is undergoing a cosmetic renovation and repairs necessary for a property facing the ocean. As of August 8th, 2024, renovations will continue but should not affect our apartment or your stay.
POWER OUTAGES: This building is equipped with a generator for common areas but not for the apartment. We experience occasional power outages that disrupt electricity, hot water, and WiFi, which are out of our control. A multi-hour power bank and a battery operated fan are available for your comfort. We will not offer refunds or cancellations due to power service interruptions, unless they extend beyond 24 hours. Any refunds and compensation will be at the discretion of the Host.
STORMS AND HURRICANES: No refunds will be given unless the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation. On the day of the order, we will refund any unused portion of the booking for any reservation scheduled to arrive during said mandatory evacuation. No refunds are issued for rain or tropical storms, as we have no control of the weather. Cancelled vacations can be rescheduled according to availability.
GUEST ACCESS
We are located in a 24-hour security gated property. Before arriving, please download the VRBO app so we can send you important entry information. We have contact-free check-in. You will receive an entry passcode to access the apartment for your entire stay. We use the VRBO platform for all communications. The apartment entrance is private and independent from others in the building. The maximum number of guests per reservation is five (5) people. The building has cameras and we have a front door camera, so please take this into consideration.
OTHER ITEMS TO CONSIDER
Noise: We respect our neighbors. No excessive noise, music, or rowdy behavior, especially between quiet hours 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM, will not be permitted and may carry consequences.
Parking: We provide a parking spot in the underground garage. If you request it, further instructions will be provided upon making your reservation.
Smoking and Drugs: Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in the apartment (including the balcony); Marijuana and drugs are not legal in Puerto Rico and not allowed in our property. A $500 to $1,000 fine will be imposed onto your reservation.
Respect the Space: This is our home. We maintain a high level of service and quality, therefore, we ask that you respect the space and its contents. We don't have a cleaning fee, however, we do require you to purchase a $59 property insurance.
Makeup and Sun Tanning Spray: We provide you with a makeup removal towel during your stay. If we identify stains on the white towels or white sheets, a charge for each stained item may be applied to your account.
Beach Gear: We provide two beach chairs and a cooler to use during your stay. Please wash off the sand from the chairs, cooler and shoes before entering the house. There are showers and hoses around the pool area.
Replacement or Lost Items: If you lose the keys, a replacement will incur a $150 fee. $75 charge for damaged or lost TV, AC or Fan remotes. $150 charge for lost or damaged parking remote.
Occupancy: The property has a maximum occupancy of five (5) people. If you violate this rule, we will be forced to cancel your reservation with no refunds, and you will have to leave the property.
Climate Control: We provide air-conditioners and fans for your comfort. Further instructions will be provided upon arrival.
Hot Water: Our apartment is equipped with a tankless water heater.
Lost and found: Items left behind will be held and every reasonable attempt will be made to contact the guests and coordinate delivery, at your expense. Items not claimed after 30 days, become the property of the Host. We are not responsible for the condition of such items.
We reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to a circumstance beyond our control. We will make every effort to provide a full refund or credit for a future reservation.
We assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items that belong to guest, including loses related to natural events or other "acts of nature", natural disasters, and acts beyond our control. We shall not be held liable or responsible for any additional expenses or losses sustained by the guest as a result of such incidents or occurrences.
