Best Family Christmas Getaway

This property was perfect for our family Christmas of 18 ranging in ages from 2 to 74. We appreciated the charming holiday decorations and cozy atmosphere. The kids were able to catch some fish and enjoy the outdoors even though we didn't have any snow. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for the kitchen and more! We are hoping to stay here again in the future!

50th anniversary

Had 14 people from 5 to 77 years old. 4 generations and this house couldn't have been better! We will keep this on our list for future events. Very well stocked, great location and perfect space for everyone!

Family Vacation

Pinecone lodge was absolutely beautiful. The accommodations were beautifully updated. The view of Sand Lake was fantastic. We had 16 family members and plenty of room for all. The children enjoyed the play ground. Ages were 1 yr to 13 .Water was great for swimming. We had a Lily pad to use as a raft. New dock was very nice to tie two boats to. The owners were lovely and thought of what was needed for the family. Love this place! ❤️

Thanksgiving Weekend with friends

This was our 10th year travelling together for holiday weekends. We wanted a home so we could stay in together and relax. We chose Pinecone Lodge for all the amenities and to accommodate our adult families. We were thrilled with the property. Everything you could possibly want in a home. The accommodations were exactly as represented - Cozy and comfortable. We said we'd love to return in the summer to the beautiful lake and enjoy the porch and deck. The owners were great at accommodating our requests. Truly a space to relax in. Thank you.

Great Getaway for a Girls Weekend

Great Long Weekend

The property was just as advertised. We were amazed how clean it was when we arrived. Every room in the house was great. We especially enjoyed our evenings on the porch. Even though it was chilly outside, the porch was still very comfortable. Maybe could do a little better on the landscaping outside, but this did not affect our stay at all. We are all hoping we are able to work out a return trip next year.

We had a wonderful reunion of friends at this property. The house was exactly as described and was more than accommodating. The views of the lake were beautiful, we only wished we had brought our fishing poles! Such an amazing space to share love and laughter, highly recommend!

Wisconsin Fall trip

This property was beyond perfect for our group! Plenty of room for large groups. The views were beautiful for early fall season. Easy access to trails for riding with short distance to local bars and stores for supplies. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Family Vacation

We were and still are in awe with our stay at your property a few weeks ago. The home was fully equipped with everything imaginable to make our stay convenient and relaxing. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks, water boards, games, etc. There was no need to go into Hayward, WI to be entertained. Pinecone Lodge…we highly recommend your property for others to enjoy as much as we did. Thank you!

Perfect group cabin weekend

This is a great cabin if you are looking for a comfortable place to house large groups. The bedrooms are all comfortable and private, allowing for almost all guests in our group to have their own room. Firewood is not provided, so stop at the local gas station to pick some up. The check-out responsibilities are a lot, especially having paid a hefty cleaning fee already.

Best getaway

This cabin was one of the nicest VRBOs I've stayed in ever. There was plenty of space for our group of 15 adults, beautiful well-maintained cabin with everything we needed. The cabin was well thought out, the space was better than we could have imagined. We especially appreciated the two dishwashers two refrigerators and two oven ranges so that we could cook big meals for the whole group. It was winter so we didn't do any boating activities, however we did use the frozen lake to play kube, and to take walks. We will definitely be back here again.
