our impressions
Facilities are good, if old, and not very carefully repainted,
as many paint splashes hadn't been removed. Kitchen was also showing age, especially sinks and plumbing.
It was well supplied, though, with linens, kitchen tools & flatware, etc. The yard was in need of upgrades, especially the driveway (broken pavement) and walk to front door (no pavement). Overall, it's OK.
All was well good coffee makers. rooms clean shower worked well. needs some gravel in driveway. black dark mud we were in tropical storm lots of rain however, front walkway needs needs some gravel also. Very dangerous curve to pull in out of driveway to house. but the owner open and honest about this told up front. picked up limbs after storm for property owner. could not get den tv working . acess code wrong. told management no replies left in ditch.everone had watch tv in master bedroom. no local news channel.
Crab Pointe Cottage is our family home for three generations now. It is a very relaxing home with large porches, a porch swing, gas fire pit outside and a very large yard with beautiful old oak trees, magnolia trees, and a muscadine grape vine that belonged to my grandparents.
