If you don't require the finest amenities, luxury appliances, and marble countertops but prefer cozy, comfortable accommodations in a beautiful rustic cabin overlooking a 3 acre pond with privacy, then you've found the perfect rental. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, living room with a stacked stone wood burning fireplace. Cabin has plenty of hot water with a washer and dryer and a dishwasher! Queen bed and two sets of bunk beds comfortably sleep six people. Our cabin sits on 65 acres off HWY 14 and is 7 miles from the Auburn University campus. ABSOLUTELY NOT recommended for those who don't like nature, dogs, cats, ducks, dirt and wildlife. IDEAL rental for those wanting to experience the energy of Auburn but retreat to a simple private getaway! No frills out here. Only nature, quiet, and beauty. 1.5 miles from our driveway to the Dollar General and Gas Station on Highway 14.

We have a home on the property and manage our small farm out here. We are close enough to assist if you have any issues or needs.
Why they chose this property
I love drinking coffee on the dock in the morning and watching the Canadian geese fly in. I also enjoy having a glass of wine and watching my miniature goats grazing the fields during the evening. It is true paradise out here.
What makes this property unique
My husband and I graduated from Auburn University and raised our family in this fabulous town. Auburn has exploded with growth and we wanted a place where we could enjoy the quiet natural undisturbed beauty and not be right in the heart of downtown. We are close enough to enjoy all of the awesome benefits of the college town and still have a private retreat.
