Our family rented from Martha and Mike for two weeks in July of 2023. It was by far the best experience we have had renting on the Cape. The house is beautiful! The gourmet kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had a few questions which were answered immediately by Martha and Mike. The location is great, with the Shining Sea bike path out the back door, a quick ride to Black and Chapaquoit beaches, and short walk to West Falmouth Market. We also took advantage of the kayaks and took in the incredible nature occurring in Snug Harbor. We will definitely rent again!!

Mike and Martha attend to every detail in this gorgeous Cape Cod home. This is our second year renting and we hope to be back! With a gorgeous view of Snug Harbor across the street and backyard proximity to the bike path, this home is perfect for couples or a family looking to stay active while enjoying the tranquility of Cape Cod. The house is fully stocked and beautifully appointed!

Beautiful Amazing Home - Wonderful View
This was one of our best vacations, rented this beautiful amazing home overlooking the water and was not disappointed at all. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this property. There was everything you could possibly need and then some. The home was meticulous with a very comfortable homey, cozy feeling. We had easy access to everything especially with the bicycle path right behind the house. Great scenic ride right to Woods Hole. I would recommend this rental to everyone and would most definitely rent again. Give it a try you will not regret it!

Relax overlooking harbor!
Wonderful house with beautiful views. Owners take fantastic care of home and are very responsive to any questions.
Enjoyed coffee every morning in rocking chairs overlooking harbor. Kayaks with easy access to Snug Harbor (directly across street) were a huge hit with entire family! Lots of outside seating in private backyard. Gourmet kithen with everything you could possibly want including many spices. Loads of room for meal prep and just hanging out. Terrific location - bike ride or quick drive to Chapaquoit Beach, walk to West Falmouth Market for coffee and hop on bike path from back yard. Just wonderful!

Stunning home, just could not be better.
This is a very comfortable and beautifully appointed home away from home. I could not agree more with the other two reviewers but would add that the view is particularly special. The beach was very close and perfect for a day's fun, an evening stroll or a warm swim in the late afternoon. We really enjoyed our morning rides along the bike path viewing cranberry fields, marshes and their rustling vegetation which was silvery in the morning light, the wigwam campground, the Cape Cod architecture and the fabulous beaches. The kayaking was fun as there are so many beautiful birds and boats to see as you paddle along. We also spent a day at Martha Vineyard, as the ferry port is very close and then another day trip in Provincetown which included the most spectacular whale watching I have ever experienced. Finally, Falmouth town is lovely - cafes, boutiques, gift shops and plenty of restaurants. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Meticulously maintained and well appointed home in a great location in West Falmouth
This is a very nice new home with all of the creature comforts of our home: central air-conditioning, cable TV, a well organized kitchen, outdoor shower, outdoor space, thoughtful landscaping and a fantastic view in the front to enjoy sunsets overlooking Snug Pond and the ocean. There were fresh linens, towels, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. The owner keeps the home in immaculate condition and we would definitely rent again. We have rented on the upper cape for many years and our experience was the best. The owners really cared that everything was in good order and that we were happy renting from them.

Beautiful Home with Great Views
We very much enjoyed our stay. This house is large, beautifully decorated with quality furniture and décor and is meticulously maintained. You have ocean views from almost every room in the home. Everything you could possibly need or want is provided in this home. The kitchen is well stocked and there isn't an appliance they haven't provided (mixer, rice steamer, waffle maker, donut maker, crock pot and many more). There has been a lot of thought put in this house to provided anything you may need.
There are numerous spaces through the house to read, watch tv, play video games, watch a movie or play card/board games. If you bike, the bike path is behind the house and if you kayak, the ocean isn't that far away and the harbor is in front of the house if you're a beach goer the beaches are close by and the water is warm.
There are four outdoor spaces one is by the grill and you can eat your meals there. The next space has furniture to relax in. The picnic table on the side of the house is nice to eat your lunch or play a game and the chairs out front are great to sit and wait for the amazing sunsets.
This home is so well set up all you need to do is bring your clothes and food.
The owners are very prompt to answer any questions you may have. We would highly recommend this property to rent for youself, family or friends.

Why they chose this property
W. Falmouth is a charming village with all the open space and quiet you need to relax and enjoy your time on the Cape, and yet with easy access to everything the Cape has to offer. Downtown Falmouth is just a short three miles from the house and offers year-round shopping, dining and entertainment. In addition, there are three beaches within a short 1 to 1-1/2 miles from the house, including Old Silver Beach which is known as one of the best beaches on the Cape. In addition, you can access the Shining Sea Bikepath right from the back door of the house, which takes you from Bourne to Woods Hole, where you can also catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. You don't have to fight the traffic either, as the house is a short 10 minute drive from the Bourne Bridge and gives you easy access on and off the Cape.
What makes this property unique
The house offers waterfront living from inside and outside. The original 1900 cottage has been renovated from top to bottom in 2015, offering all of the modern conveniences of a gourmet kitchen and water views from virtually every room in the house. In addition, the property has been professionally landscaped to create patios and eating areas overlooking the W. Falmouth's Snug Harbor and the best sunsets on Cape Cod. Plus, the backyard provides a private sanctuary for dining and grilling. You can kayak, bike or just enjoy the views and relax.
