The kitchen has everything you need - dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, 4-slot Zwilling toaster, drip coffee machine, French press, coffee grinder, waffle maker, and plates/cutlery. There is sugar, salt and pepper as well as some seasonings in the cupboard above the oven. There is a doggy door built into the back storm door. The kitchen also features a dining nook with a table and stools that look upon the forest – watch for piliated woodpeckers, hummingbirds, or bluejays!

The separate dining area has 4 dining chairs, 4 more folding chairs, and another leaf in the kitchen closet to expand the table if needed. The table has beautiful views overlooking the forest, mountain, and front meadow.

Comfy and cozy

Very accurate listing, very eclectic (which we loved)! It was 29 degrees when we arrived, that woodstove warmed us up quick! Grill is wonderful. Just cooked breakfast, but had what we needed and more!

Lovely Fall Weekend

The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating! Our group of 2 toddlers and 4 adults had a wonderful weekend getaway with beautiful autumn scenery, a peaceful visit to the little beach on the lake, a bonfire, and stargazing, as promised! The property feels a bit older/tired, but it was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very functional and fridge was large which is great because you'll want to stay put for the visit since it's rural. Deck is a lovely feature to take advantage of when you have great weather like we did.
