Log cabin for rent in Charlemont, and only 3 miles to Berkshire East Ski Resort. 4 bedroom 2 bath cabin comfortably sleeps 12 people and has just been renovated with new bathrooms, flooring and kitchen. The open floor plan in the main living area boasts 19' ceilings, making it a great place to cook and relax, while hanging out with everyone in the house. The fully finished basement is a great place for the kids to play with some toys, multiple board games, or even some video games. If you would like to relax the upstairs loft is a great place to read a book, while looking out the wall of windows towards the mountains in the distance. The house faces west so each day enjoy magnificent sun sets that set over the mountains. If you enjoy the rustic lifestyle and enjoy the outdoors this is the place to be.

Great place, no issues

We needed a place to relax, and this was it. We had 0 problems or concerns. Everything was well stocked and labeled and clean. It has a nice main area for lots of sitting and dining, a clean hot tub right off the sliders, and a nice wood stove to warm up and create some ambiance. Couches were super comfortable, and we easily found everything we needed in the kitchen. FYI there are two thermostats on the main level, one in the hallway and one in the bedroom - we failed to see the second the first night.

Great Friendsgiving Spot!

We rented this home for our annual Friendsgiving get together as 3 best friends from college and our kiddos. Great location given that we were coming from MA,VT, and NY. More than enough indoor and outdoor space for 5 adults and 4 kiddos ranging in age from 2-10. Mike has a great attention to detail and we found the welcome packet incredibly helpful and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything we wanted

This property was exactly what we were looking for! The cabin is on a very private and quiet lot which made relaxing easy. The outdoor hot tub was the perfect after-dinner activity. The cabin is a stones throw from Bershire East Mountain which made travel to our activities stress-free. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Mike was a great host, he was responsive to messages and made my first trip using Vrbo seamless. I highly recommend staying here!

Something for everyone

There was a group of us staying from 5 up to 88. We came for a wedding and everyone enjoyed the comfort this place gave us. It had toys and games for all ages to enjoy and an open living area for every to be together easily. Let's not forget the location and how are close it is to everything we needed. It was a wonderful time.

Unforgettable Mountainside Getaway

Just had an amazing weekend that blew us away! The house was well-equipped, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed. The house being fully air-conditioned was a fantastic ameditity and made our stay incredibly comfortable. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Wedding Weekend Getaway

The lodge was amazing! Private setting with an incredible view of the foliage. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.There were 10 of us for a family wedding and we had plenty of room and everything we needed. Our host, Mike, couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. Fantastic Girl's Weekend

The property was amazing! The perfect place for a Girls Weekend with my high-school girlfriends. I've stayed in various VRBO homes and this one by far, was the best stocked. From the kitchen suppiles to the toiletries, Mike makes sure you are well taken care of. And so helpful! We had a little trouble figuring out the heat on the first morning but he responded to my call within 5 mins and walked us through it. The house is close to everything but well off the beaten path so we could enjoy the peace and quiet, we spent our evenings gazing at the stars from the immaculate hot tub. I was however a little concerned for the safety of the gal who slept in the upstairs bedroom who had to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom on the main level.There appears to be a 1/2 bath up there that is locked to guests. My only suggestion to the host is to allow access, especially for the senior population 😆. We had a wonderful time at this property and was sad to say goodbye to it. We would definitely book again and I've already shared the link with others. Thanks Mike!

Sister’s weekend getaway

This was our 5th annual getaway and by far the best. The host was responsive and informative. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Many meals were cooked in the kitchen and shared in the dining room. We were able to spread out in the comfortable bedrooms. The fire-pit and hot tub were well used. We explored the area on our morning walks and enjoyed the scenery. We truly wished we had more time to stay, and will definitely go back in the future. We would rate this home a 10 out if 10!

Nice stay in Charlemont

We liked the lovely house. We missed some kitchen equipement, one airco fell out of the window and the pump of the hot tub makes a lot of noise, so that sleeping in the bedroom in the basement wasn't possible (for us). Because we had bad weather during our stay we didn't enjoy the beautiful countryside.

One of the weekend highlights!

Thunderstruck was back at the bike park and this was our home base for the weekend and everyone loved it! All the athletes said they loved having a little slice of heaven tucked back with a hot tub to unwind, a grill for making all the food, a fabulous yard/fire pit, and a great hangout space inside too once it got too chilly to be outside.
