The primary reason for renting this property was our familiarity with the location. However, we were disappointed with this particular property for several reasons. Primarily, we found the amenities below standard with other properties that we have rented in The Villages. The towels and bed linens were very limited (three wash clothes!) and of very poor quality, again as compared to other properties. The kitchen dishes were limited, and we tended to run the dishwasher every day just for two adults. We bought paper plates and plastic glasses to supplement the limited number of dishes. The furniture in the living area was worn and very uncomfortable. The house had been cleaned but we found an excessive amount of dust, dead insect, etc. which made us believe the cleaning had been done much earlier. Upon check-in, the television service was awful, but was corrected by the owner after numerous phone calls and effort. Overall, we were disappointed in the property and will not return again. Note, we have already another house for the winter of 2023.
