Beautiful, spacious home with fenced in yard and patio to enjoy some beautiful weather as well. Beds were wonderful. Chris kept in touch with us the whole weekend. Exceptional stay!
We enjoyed staying in this lovely home in Gainesville. The area is convenient to parks, lake and nature trails in the area. A short trip to shopping and the downtown area. The house is clean and adequately furnished. We especially enjoyed the visits from the wildlife in the area. Lots of deer grazing and birds every morning and evening.
Look forward to my next trip to the area. Most definitely will book again.

Restful Night
Getting an accurate access code took 4 attempts, making it a bit frustrating. The house was spacious and in a safe, quiet neighborhood. There were no blinds in the bathrooms, there was a blood stained coverlet on a bed, so we did not use that room. The kitchen had 2 chipped coffee cups. Overall our stay was pleasant and relaxing.
Excellent stay in Gainesville! The check-in process was seamless, making our arrival stress-free. Chris, the host, was incredibly supportive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The house itself was immaculately clean and featured stylish, up-to-date decor. If you're looking for a VRBO in the Gainesville area, I strongly recommend booking with Chris. You won't be disappointed!
We had a great stay! Everything was exactly as described and perfectly clean. The location is close to everything you need in Gainesville but still in a quiet neighborhood! We used this for family who came for thanksgiving and will probably use it again!
Nice house, quiet and safe neighborhood. Easy access to local attractions. We enjoyed having access to the garage (but a garage opener to use for the car would be nice). AC was excellent, despite hot weather. Could use more kitchen supplies, we bought a colander and left it in the pantry to aide the cause!

House Keeping needs to do better
My major complaint was about the cleanliness of the house. There was a sticky brown mess outside the front door and a spot of whatever that was, was on the first step going upstairs. HAIR.....Hair was everywhere, under the bed, on the bathroom floor, on the shower wall. Not acceptable. Then we had to deal with the shower floor leaking out onto the bathroom floor.
This house was very nice. The home well accommodated 6 people. It was modern and well appointed. My only criticism is that there were no blinds in the house. The main bathroom window had no blinds or curtains, so you were completely exposed when showering. Also, the kitchen was sparsely furnished - very few dishes and cookware.
But overall was a great house.
The location was perfect. Nice quiet neighborhood and we saw deer. The home was comfortable, just not well stocked in kitchen. There were 6 of us and only 2 forks and 1 spoon. Thankfully I had some disposable we could use. Also, it would be a plus if the owner would invest $10 for blinds in the downstairs bathroom. It is facing the street and front porch and who likes to sit on the commode in view of anyone walking up. The upstairs bathrooms didn’t have coverings on the windows either.
We booked the Viking House months in advance for a family reunion. When we arrived at the house, we used our door code and discovered there were other guests still at the property. We were told by the property manger that we could not stay. After several phone calls and lots of arguing, the property manager finally offered another house but it was over an hour drive away. Then they directed us to get a hotel but it was going to cost us double the price of the house. We did get a refund but had to find our own place to stay. I no longer have trust in VRBO.
