Exceeded expectations!

This was our first family trip to Alexandria/DC area, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. Amy’s home was absolutely beautiful, well-equipped, and in the perfect location. The quaint street, while busy, was undetectable inside the home. Favorites: the gorgeous courtyard, comfortable bed, thoughtful touches in the home (phone chargers!) and proximity to King street and Misha’s coffee shop (try the lavender latte!). We hope to return to finish sight-seeing, as there is so much to do in the area! If we do, we will definitely stay at this beauty again. Thank you, Amy!

AMAZING!

Our stay here was perfect! Amy was a wonderful host, meeting us there while checking in and answering any questions we had throughout our stay. The home was AMAZING! Beautiful inside and out, meticulously clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, comfortable beds, I could go on and on. Location was ideal as we traveled back and forth to DC most days. Old Town Alexandria is such a nice area. Lots of cute shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

Historic Alexandria Townhouse on Captain's Row

This beautiful historic, exquisitely decorated home in Old Town Alexandria is truly special. Located on charming Prince Street, it is walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and the Potomac waterfront. Everything is as described. The bed is comfortable with cozy linens. The kitchen is very well appointed. In fact, we prepared our Thanksgiving dinner there. The outdoor courtyard is a dream. The home is just minutes from the sites of Washington, DC and Mt. Vernon. The host, Amy, is a delightful, helpful communicator offering neighborhood tips and all the information needed to ensure that arriving, parking, and other directions for the house are smooth and clear. We can't wait to return.

Live Like a Local

I felt for a moment like I lived in Old Town! This property is well appointed with a beautiful terrace and living space. It was perfect for my 6 night stay. The cobbled street, historic houses and fall color were picture perfect.

I fell in love with Old Town when I visited a college friend living on South St. Asaph Street. Six months later, I bought my own home just a few blocks away. After having three children, my husband and I moved closer to Mount Vernon for more space and a bigger yard. Now, 20 years later, I’m back!
