Won't Do That Again
We have stayed at many houses over the years and this was, by far, the worst. It started when we were told by the owner that we could only use half of the beach (the picture on the the site is very misleading). The side we were allowed to use was gross. Then, his dogs started running in the yard while we were trying to settle in. He lives next door, by the way, and watched everything we did. He didn't tell us this or greet us when we got there, and they actually seemed quite annoyed when we pulled in. It was VERY uncomfortable. From that point on, someone at his house was always "keeping an eye" on us. Our daughters jogged down the dock because they were excited to show me something they found in the water and I quickly received a text that there is NO RUNNING ON THE DOCK and that we should put life jackets on them. We could not connect to WiFi. I texted him for 2 days about this and was ignored, as he sat on his boat on the neighboring dock. He finally walked over and helped us get on - on day 3. (He had been giving us the wrong password.) We were also not told that he rents the dock out to fishermen. I was sitting alone, reading a book, and 3 strange men came walking up behind me in the back yard to get to their boat. Frightening! We were told we could not leave anything on the grass - quite annoying because we had family lawn games. We also received multiple reminders about what to flush down the toilet. Needless to say, we would not recommend this place.
