What car ?!
Ive been to Maui 3 times now . 1st 2 times I stayed at Sugar Beach Condo's which is nice and quiet and mellow. This time I went by myself for my 53rd Birthday and wanted to relax and surf every morning so this location was ideal as Maui Wave riders is across the street from the lanai and across the street from that is Kalama park and Surfers cove perfect for novice riders like me . The location is a bit noisier then say Sugar beach due to the main strip directly outside the lanai but once you get checked in and thats a breeze , you won't need a car as all the restaurants , bars , etc are within 1 block of the condo . It's a classic older condo but updated nicely . Be forewarned with the olderness of the building , you'll be sharing hot water in the mornings with other condos so it can be a bit off and on . Super comfy living room with a nice flat screen /smart TV but there is no foot rest or ottoman when relaxing on the couch which makes relaxing a bit uncomfortable for those evenings in . Also no coffee table for eating food while on the couch. they do have TV trays for that purpose but , cmon . Kitchen is well appointed and had everything I needed for cooking .
I have saved this condo for future trips as it's a perfect spot for surfing and checking out Kihei but its far from a quiet relaxing location due to the main strip being out front of your lanai .
