About this property

The Alpaca Campa - Minutes to Nashville

Create warm and fuzzy memories while staying in our well appointed, private camper on our mini alpaca farm in Middle Tennessee. We offer a unique camping experience that combines the charm of rural life, though still close enough to Nashville to enjoy the thrill of the city. Of course the City offers bars, honky-tonks with live music, Grand Ole Opry, tours, you name it, but why stay in the noisy downtown area after a long day? Our farm offers a serene, peaceful getaway with amenities that are sure to make you relax such as enjoying the fire while making smores, stargazing, reading your favorite book, enjoying a picnic, or best of all - feeding alpacas their favorite treats and snapping selfies that will make your friends wish they were you!

Your space is completely separated/fenced from all animals so that you only have to interact with them if you want to. The rental area includes the fully equipped RV, a small fenced yard with a picnic table and umbrella, firepit with Adirondack chairs, and a charcoal grill. We also have kayaks if you'd like to rent those by the day. If you'd like to make your arrival special with flowers, wine, or a charcuterie board, please let me know at least 72 hours prior to your stay to arrange that for you.

We loved it there.

Stayed with my daughter for 2 nights and we loved it. They even left carrots in the refrigerator to feed the alpacas. Everything was as expected. Very cute place.

Home away from home...with alpacas!!!

The Alpaca Campa was simply amazing. Exactly as described in photos but sooooooo cute in person. Alpacas, chickens, and the sweetest cat named Kitty Kitty kept us company! Michelle was so kind and helpful! We had a slight communication issue when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the campber

Amazing!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. Greg and Michelle are super responsive if you have questions but also provide complete privacy. Driving into Nashville is quick and easy, and the camper is just perfect - many thoughtful touches. We had such a cozy retreat surrounded by adorably inquisitive alpacas (and Kitty Kitty!) and would book again in a heartbeat.

Loved It!

My husband and I were looking for a fun staycation spot near Nashville, TN. Magnolia Acres delivered! The hosts, Michelle and Greg, were very gracious. They greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the RV and the farm. In addition to alpacas, the farm also has chickens, goats and sheep! Even though we were very close to the animals, the RV and the outside areas smelled very clean. There was lots to do in the Gallatin/ Hendersonville area. Tons of shopping opportunities and restaurants too. Michelle gave us some great recommendations. We tried out Demos and 393 Cafe - both were delicious! We didn't do any cooking while there but the RV had everything we would have needed. It was spacious and decorated to give a warm and cozy feeling. The bed was very comfortable! If you are looking for a unique overnight experience near Nashville, I highly recommend magnolia acres. It is a beautiful and relaxing location and alpaca selfies were a fun bonus!

Sweetest alpaca campa!

Where to begin! Michelle was so sweet and informative. We had a long drive (11+hrs) and she made sure the camper was open for us so we could get in quickly and get some rest. We were greeted upon our arrival by a super sweet kitty who we later learned is called Kitty Kitty . (Sometimes frisky but so lovely) We followed the pathway to the camper that is lit up so nicely. Inside was just the most darling thing. Alpaca themed accents here and there, plenty of games to play, multiple tvs to watch shows, snacks in the fridge for the alpacas, a brita pitcher, bottles of water, towels… such cozy decor. You are sure to feel right at home here. :) Michelle also has a tour guide booklet she’s put together with suggestions for places to eat and explore (some with personal notes)! How thoughtful! The alpacas are the cutest, and every now and then a goat would wander over also. :) We loved watching them at all hours of the day. It’s just such a peaceful place to be and exist. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed at all. Being only a 30 minute drive from Nashville this was a no brainier. Such a unique experience! The stove and shower were a learning experience for us but Michelle is incredibly helpful, any questions you may have she is more than happy to help! Thank you so much for everything and we can’t wait to come back again someday! 💗
