Please note that any checkouts after 10:00 AM without prior approval will incur a late fee which may be the equivalent cost of an additional night's stay.
::SECURITY CAMERAS::
Please note that for your safety and the safety of our property, one (1) exterior camera is installed to monitor the exterior of the property (including the driveway and front door.) Your booking constitutes understanding and acceptance of all recordings. Any attempt to turn off, disable, move, re-direct, and/or cover the cameras is prohibited and will result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund.
Great, please let us know. For your convenience below is our pet policy which can also be found in our listing:
::PETS::
Please note there is an $80 pet cleaning fee and only dogs are permitted, with a limit of two (2) dogs. This fee is mandatory to uphold high cleaning standards for allergy-sensitive guests. Ensure you select the "pet fee" option during reservation.
Kindly adhere to the following guidelines:

- PLEASE clean up after your pet on the property and neighborhood
- If guests leaves the cabin, the dog(s) must be crated while the guest is away
::REMOVAL OF TRASH::

::BBQ USAGE::
If you use the BBQ, you must turn off the propane gas, cover the BBQ (with the provided cover), and wash all BBQ utensils when you are done using it.
::FIRE PIT USAGE::
Turn off the propane gas when you are done using it
::HOT TUB USAGE::
The hot tub is chemically serviced and cleaned regularly and has been properly cleaned in advance of your arrival. However, we sometimes experience winds that can cause debris from surrounding trees and other materials to fall into the hot tub. Please help us maintain the cleanliness of the hot tub by keeping the cover on, when not in use.
Quiet hours must be observed while in use (7:00 am - 10:00 pm). No food, drinks or any type of glass containers may be used near the hot tub. Please rinse off before entering the hot tub to avoid body lotions or oils in the water. NO liquids, soaps, bath bombs, bubble baths, or additives of any kind are allowed in the hot tub. No pets in the hot tub and anyone under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. In the event of any damages caused by tampering or excess cleaning the guest shall be responsible for cost incurred.
After Use:
Set temp to 104° F
Ensure cover is on
::HVAC::
Please note we DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING OR CEILING FANS and the summer days can get quite warm. However we do have screens on all the windows and provide portable fans, so if you open them all up and turn on the fans you can get some cross ventilation going. Additionally, we DO NOT have heater ducts upstairs, therefore during the winter the upstairs can be chillier than the downstairs; however, we provide extra blankets and space heaters in addition to the duvets on the beds if you like to stay extra toasty while you sleep.
::THE MOUNTAIN IS WILD::
While we do pest control on the cabin, you are in the mountains and occasionally encounter critters/bugs they may get inside. Part of being in the mountains is being susceptible to power outages and road closures. Flashlights are provided in the case of power outages. Between November 1 - April 1, CalTrans requires you to carry snow chains in your car. During the winter, the city provides snow removal services for the residential streets within 48 hours of any snowfall bigger than 2ft. Before you head to Big Bear, please study maps of the area and make a plan from Point A to Point B. When selecting a route, consider traffic conditions, weather conditions, chain requirements, and road work notices.
No refunds will be given for weather, critters, power outages, and road closures.
::RESPECT::
We are located in a residential neighborhood. Our neighbors are very nice folks, and we enjoy the quiet and harmonious environment together. It's important to be aware that you will experience all that comes with typical "neighborhood life" (neighbors on both sides, cars going by, planes passing by, people going on morning strolls, etc.). Parties or events of any kind are strictly prohibited. Please treat the area and home with respect. Quiet time is from 10 PM – 7 AM. Guest agrees to pay any/all fines issued to the Host by the San Bernardino Sheriff’s and/or County Code Compliance for noise disturbances, over occupancy, or any other violation pertaining to the guest stay at the cabin ($1000 per violation). No refunds will be given for any of these violations.
::Guest Access::
The cabin is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home. There is plenty of parking and the cabin is fully gated. Both sides open up for more parking.
Please note the outdoor sheds and Bedroom 1 closet (Locked with smart lock) are used for the storage of supplies and are therefore locked.
Should anything arise, I will be accessible via the VRBO app. I give our guests space but make myself available. I can also make arrangements for onsite assistance when required. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to me and I am dedicated to ensuring that you have a 5-star stay!!!
