La Jolla, known as the Jewel of San Diego, is a must-see for anyone visiting San Diego, and if you want to stay in the middle of it all, this is the perfect vacation rental. Casa de la Sirena is one of 4 historic Beach Cottages built in the 1930s and lined up along a stairway named Ocean Lane between Prospect Street and the Pacific Ocean. As La Jolla grew and developed around them, the cottages have retained the original charm and appeal that have delighted countless visitors over the decades.

Casa de la Sirena has been nicely updated to feature all the modern–day comforts of home. Comfy furnishings, a flat-screen cable TVs, a dedicated dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and an electric fireplace.

Additional amenities include, and electric BBQ, complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning, in-home laundry, ceiling fans, BBQ, a starter kit of soaps, paper goods, trash bags, and one towel set and beach towel per occupant.

Guests at Casa de la Sirena can take a short stroll down to the ocean and La Jolla Cove. Extraordinarily beautiful, La Jolla Cove is one of the most photographed shorelines in Southern California. Because it is a protected Ecological Reserve, marine wildlife abounds. featuring sea lions, dolphins and even whales during migrating seasons. Water visibility at the Cove can sometimes exceed 30 feet, making it a very popular spot for Scuba, snorkeling and kayaking. Just up the stairs, is the lively Village and Prospect Street, with its bustling mix of ocean–view restaurants, coffee shops, one–of–a–kind boutiques, art galleries, jewelry shops and more!

Great place by the beach

I really enjoyed my stay. The home was well-designed, decorated, and stocked. It was the perfect location to enjoy the beach, shopping, and restaurants. And the customer service team was very attentive and helpful. I hope to come back and stay in the future

Cute Home in Convenient Neighborhood

This tiny house was perfect for two people. It appeared to be recently remodeled with updated appliances, lights, and HVAC. The bed was comfortable (memory foam). The tub/shower was attractive, but I’m not the biggest fan of a tub surrounded by shower curtains as a shower. The location can’t be beat. Near the beach and La Jolla shopping. Would recommend.
