About this property
Hudson Valley mid century house with stunning views
This 4-bedroom house in Wappingers Falls is perfect for your escape. With 1 king bed and 3 queen beds, this charming property offers a superb stay for guests. Enjoy the enchanting bathtub and shower amenities in the 2 bathrooms. Feel at home with AC, WiFi, a washing machine, heating, and an iron available. We hope you enjoy what our place and Wappingers Falls has to offer.
This classic midcentury modern house of ‘68 is a dream for any design enthusiast. The house seemingly floats above its site and so does the stunning butterfly roof. The views are equally beautiful without any other structures in site, just trees and the distant mountain range. An all glass floor to ceiling south facing facade with large sliding doors connects you visually and physically to the outside. Rumor has it that this house was a meeting point for some of the Woodstock rockstars in 1969.
The living as well as the dining rooms each allow sweeping views of the Hudson valley and feature a large fireplace as well as a cast iron stove, both of which provide a cozy atmosphere during dinner or just while reading or enjoying a glass of wine. The master bedroom with an open bathroom with bathtub is on the private upper level while the three other bedrooms are on the main floor, all facing east with views into the forest. A large terrace and a covered wrap around balcony allows the use of the outdoors in any weather.
The entire property is exceptionally private and exclusively used by you
