Clean and Cozy

Our stay was good, but this space would be too cramped with 8 people. With five or six it seemed crowded in the common areas and needs more seating in the living room, although I don't know where you could put any more. Smaller than I expected, but pics are accurate. It's a 4th floor corner unit, the balcony was always in the shade, close to the next building, and overlooks the parking lot. We didn't use it at all because it was never sunny and in Feb. the wind between the buildings and walkways was cold, brisk and always blowing. The weather always seemed much nicer away from the building. A playground and more outdoor benches/tables/seating around the property would be nice and the beach shuttle should be available year round. Although walking to the beach took me only 9 minutes, I would have gone more if I didn't have to walk it every time. Especially since walking from the parking lot, carrying everything to an elevator, and walking to the unit was tiring and more than enough walking because I left the property frequently to explore the island and shop. Not much space for dry goods; I didn't use the dishwasher; plenty of towels and blankets, good supply of most kitchen/dining items (I did get more silverware though). Big closets, nice furnishings. I swept and mopped often, but vacuuming first would've been better. Providing a vacuum would be extremely helpful. The property manager was great, very helpful and prompt resolving the few minor issues we had.

Honest review

This is this first time I have ever used Vrbo to book a place to stay. Not going to lie I was very nervous. Everything seemed to be going great until arrival, everything was as described. Only one small detail that threw me off was the floor of the condo was a little wonky. I’m not a light person, I weight a little over 200lbs. The floor was spongy and in the master bathroom you were standing as a complete angle. It was so hard to give my daughter a bath. This is not any fault to the management company who runs this rental, they were amazing! I would just hope the owners of the property talk to the resort owners about it and try to get this fixed somehow. I know this building is OLD, I expected something to be off with the flooring but honestly it kinda scared me. Again this is no fault to the management company that runs this listing, they are absolutely amazing and I would 100% stay with grand welcome again and at the resort again, just probably not this exact condo. I wanted to touch on the cleaning a bit, as someone who used to clean homes for a living I can say that the cleaning needs an upgrade. At first it looks visually appealing but after my daughter climbed around and I walked barefoot a few passes through the condo,my feet and her knees were black from sand. Also found some old guests shorts under the bed in the master so I know it wasn’t cleaned under the bed. Overall I had an amazing stay, would 1000% do it again BUT at another condo! Thank you the amazing stay!
