Here’s the correspondence with property manager. Stephanie’s post -I wanted to follow up regarding my recent stay at the Route 66 property from June 24-26. While I appreciated some aspects of the home, several issues arose that significantly impacted our experience. Bugs in the House: There were bugs inside the home, and a wasp nearly stung our newborn. Additionally, there were numerous wasp nests around the property, which posed a safety concern. Warnings About Snakes and Insects: Being warned of snakes and insects near the pond—close to where the trash needed to be carried—was unsettling. Unkempt Landscaping: Although the property was mowed, the lack of weed trimming left tall grass around the shrubbery, which added to our unease. Pool Condition: The pool water appeared murky, and the large pool robot left in the pool made it uninviting. While you mentioned we could remove it, neither of us felt comfortable doing so. Garage Door and Security Concerns: The garage door window was broken and covered with a trash bag, and the door leading from the garage into the house lacked a lock. This raised concerns about security throughout our stay. The property was described as being located on Route 66; however, it was far off the road, which differed significantly from expectations and added to the inconvenience. There was also a pit bull dog on a chain the day we left early when the property manager returned home. The dog seemed rather aggressive acting. Would not recommend, awful.
