The best of all! Daily hours designated for river access on the Florida River. Fish, picnic, swim, or sunbath. Located only 15 minutes from downtown Durango. This one bedroom home comfortably sleeps 4, one queen size bed in large master bedroom and one queen sleeper sofa. Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, full serving/cooking setup, beautiful views. High end finishes, hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms, high end doors, windows. Outdoor covered patio with fire place and BBQ grill. Safe, off street parking.

Close to town, but private and plenty of space to park, play, and sleep in a clean, comfortable setting. Covered parking, full size laundry in the home. Plenty of closet space, huge TV, direct TV service, wireless hookup.

Beautiful property. Nice location close to Durango and within 1-2+ hours to other popular destinations. Very clean, cozy, and peaceful. Wish the kitchen was a little more stocked with cookware, more variety of cooking utensils, and basic staples. Overall would highly recommend.

Very pleasant stay!
Cute clean, and very comfortable! Living space is upstairs so it feels like being in a cozy treehouse. Kathy is a gracious hostess who lives on the property with her family - there are three homes total including this one. At her recommendation, we had a lovely lunch at Dalton Ranch golf course with amazing views. She brought us wood for the outdoor fireplace and showed us where to sit to enjoy the creek. We visit Colorado every year and will make this an annual stop.

Peaceful location nestled on a beautiful property.
Owners clearly take pride in their cabin and the rest of the beautiful property it is on. You could enjoy spending countless hours relaxing here or use it as a home base to come back to after an adventurous day of activities in the Durango area. The amenities served any of our potential needs.

Small & adorable!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at this location. It was very clean and had the cutest little charm to it. I wish there was better pictures of the outside of the property on the listing. This home is inside a gated area with the owners home. We never ran into anyone during our stay, but the listing/pictures made it look more private. It is right off the road, but never really heard traffic. We did see several deer and the breeze that went through the area was amazing. Thank you for sharing your home and a wonderful stay!

Remarkable Stay
My wife and I wanted a getaway in Durango with a home in a quiet area and just a short drive to downtown and this place delivered everything we needed. The property was just as described in the listing and we loved the covered carport. The property has two other houses on it but we honestly couldn’t tell anyone else was around the entire time. The owners actually reached out to us to welcome us and we’re available by phone at any time. Just the best stay. Highly recommend!!

This place is a gem! Perfect location being 15ish mins from downtown while having a secluded feel. The property is beautiful - we loved strolling & fishing the private river! Sitting out on the deck & enjoying the scenery was amazing. We will definitely be back!!

Upon entry, we didn't readily find the living space. Until we found the stairs! This was perfect for a couple. Although we enjoyed all our meals on the little balcony off the kitchen, we grilled on the ground level patio. Bed was very comfortable. We saw a golden eagle right outside our window!
