Less than 5 minutes to the Festival Grounds, Wheels Through Time, and many shops and restaurants, it’s the perfect home base for your Great Smoky Mountain escape.
Sunset Creek is an ideal cabin for those who want to relax and enjoy the mountains with easy and convenient access to all the area attractions. This two bedroom two bath home offers cozy queen beds, TVs in each room bedroom, 2 full baths, and a spacious living room and sun porch to relax and enjoy time with friends and family.
When you first arrive you’ll find parking for 3-4 vehicles, and will be greeted by the sound of the flowing stream that runs alongside the property. Travel up a short flight of stairs the spacious deck. This outdoor space is complete with both a covered porch and a connected side deck along the creek with an outdoor dining area and a gas grill. The deck is also gated so pets traveling along can safely enjoy the mountain air as well. There is also a fire pit out here for our guests to enjoy.
Once inside, you’ll find an open floor plan with a kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking and dining, as well as enjoying a cup of morning coffee on the covered porch. The cozy living room is complete with a wood burning fireplace, large screen tv, and an adjacent enclosed sun porch with a dining table and reading area. There is also a small sleeper sofa in this room for an additional guest.
The master bedroom offers a comfy king bed, with high quality linens, a tv and an attached full bath. The second bedroom is also spacious and welcoming with a queen bed and tv. There is a second hall bath conveniently located adjacent to the guest room.
Sunset Creek is just a short drive to many area attractions including the Cataloochee Ski Area, Soco Falls, Tube World, Cherokee, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Biltmore Estate in Asheville is also less than an hour away.
There is paved access to the house until the last small stretch of road which is a slight downhill turn on gravel. The driveway is also gravel.
There are no stairs inside the home but there is a small flight up to the front door.
This property does have close neighbors and the yard is not fenced. Guests with pets MUST keep them leashed at all times when outside. There is a gate in the porch that will keep pets contained but they cannot be left alone out there.
