Check in for late night needs to be clarified more
It was absolutely breath-taking place. Comfortable and roomy with bring family or friends driveway is a little tight but it worked for us with 1 vehicle. The deck views were amazing.
Very easy check in process. All information was at the main office. Really enjoyed the stay. Washer and dryer and all appliances worked as they should. Some upgrades need to be made for the price of the cabin rental. There is a jacuzzi tub on the bottom floor but not enough hot water to use it. Interior needs to be updated.
I think the house is clean enough but could use a little more attention. Pillows are terrible and the furniture throughout needs to be replaced. The rocking chairs on the deck have little nails sticking out that will catch you on the leg.
The grill wouldn’t ignite and no matches. The grill needs to be deep cleaned. We got the grill started but there’s so much buildup under the burners that it ruined our food.
Not too thrilled with paying a cleaning fee then being asked to bag up all garbage and strip the beds.
The cabin location was lovely and convenient. The main issue was the cleanliness of the cabin! We found the countertops of the kitchen clean as well as the refrigerator...the bathroom sinks and bathtubs were clean... beyond that...the floors, baseboards...bugs and dirt in kitchen windows...nothing had been dusted in quite a while...the pots/ pans etc. were extremely worn and all kitchen items just thrown in cabinets....we stripped the bed sheets/pillowcases and pillows were stained...comforters had stains... truly a shame
This property is located in a beautiful area with gorgeous Mountain View’s! The house is clean but slightly dated and needs some attention to a few places. The kitchen floor squeaks terribly and will wake anyone sleeping in the lower level. The main floor bathroom needs some drain cleaning as it drains very slow and backs up water during the shower (about 2-3”).
Also, there were no coffee filters (even though they provided a bag of coffee), and no basic spices or cooking oils (maybe due to COVID?).
Overall I would recommend this place as it’s tucked into the mountains in a quiet neighborhood very close to the NP.
For the most part the place was perfect and the staff was helpful. Unfortunately for the first 2 days the downstairs plumbing continued to back up and flood the bathroom, hallway and hot tub. Once the staff was contacted the problem was taken care of. The plumber stated it was due to the sewer not being emptied. I feel this is neglect on someone's part and should not have been a problem for my family to deal with for 3 days!
We traveled from Idaho for a family wedding in Wallend. Great place for the six of us. The granddaughters enjoyed seeing the deer in the driveway in the evening and the adults enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony and telling stories while admiring the view of the mountains. No bears, but that was ok.
Great place to stay in for the short amount of time.
We had a great time staying in the area and a good place to spend the nights. Good amount of space and privacy with the 2 level and several rooms available. The parking is a little small and all gravel so for motorcycles it's a little tricky but still works out good. Worth the stay!
