Our First Visit to Abingdon

Abingdon is such a beautiful place, and we so enjoyed our first visit here. Shelley’s rental is charming and beautiful as well, and we loved being right in town, where we could walk to shops and dinner. So many historic houses and being able to stay in one was a treat.

Loved this place!

This is a unique and charming place to stay in historic Abingdon! The host is amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The rental space is also perfect! It is clean, comfortable and has all the modern amenities you’d expect in a hotel but has the charm and history of an 1820’s home. The location is superb and allows easy convenience to many restaurants and shops. Having a dessert restaurant on the first floor of the rental and a food truck out back really added to the fun we had. Highly recommend the Appalach-Inn and will definitely be back for another stay.
