This was the most disgusting rental I have ever stayed in. It didnt look like it had ever been cleaned. Broken glass in the driveway, the toilets had urine and hairs in and on them, the floors were very dirty and had sticky spots as wells as stains and nail polish all over them. The air vents were covered in grime. The headboard in the primary bedroom had marker scribbled all over and was stained with sweat and who knows what. After contacting the host, all they said was that they would let the cleaning crew know it was not up to their standards. So we bought $50 worth of cleaning supplies and spent over 2 hours cleaning toilets & floors and wiping down high touch surfaces with Lysol. It legitimately looked like they evicted squatters the night before they rented to us. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place!

Disappointing
Unfortunately our experience at this property was disappointing. The check in process was a bit odd. I received a message through VRBO with what was supposed to be check in information the day of, but it was missing the door code. I had to prompt the host for the door code. When we arrived, the AC was broken, so the host was scrambling to fix the issue. At that point, the host offered to cover for a hotel room, the cleaning fee, and for the night we wouldn't be staying at the property. I thought this would be a redeeming factor, however I never received a comp for the cleaning fee or the first night. When we arrived the next day, the smoke alarms were beeping- prob needed batteries. The host was very communicative at this point and stocked the fridge with breakfast, which was a nice gesture, but my biggest issue was that the place was dirty. I can handle an old building, but this felt like it was under construction-step ladders in the hallway, dirty floors, dusty throughout, mirrors were dirty, missing bulbs in the bathrooms, kitchen trash can (which was stainless steel) appeared to have never been cleaned, unused mop and filters laying out in the kitchen, no trash cans in the bathrooms, cobwebs in the ceilings, vents were coated in dust, glitter on the floors. I have 2 kids under 5 that play on the floor, so this was a major "ick" factor for me. Truthfully, I was uncomfortable and opted to drive home the night before checkout to not have to sleep there another night. On a po
