About this property
Charming 3-bedroom house on a serene creek in delightful Canton
The Creek House at Luna Farms is a 3BR/2BA home that sits on a serene creek.
Thoughtfully designed and cleaned, this cozy home is perfect for your mountain getaway as it is central to many nearby adventures like Pisgah National Forest, Smoky Mountains, and Cataloochee Ski Area.
Cross over into host's property and access a hiking trail, visit the farm animals, and see what's in the garden.
Note: The house is located on the street, which makes for easy access and a short walk to the land.
The space
The Creek House is our guest house, which we actually lived in for a year as a family of five. We updated the kitchen , added new appliances, and replaced the floors in 2022.
We named this home the Creek House because it's surrounded by a creek on both sides. Falling asleep to the sounds of the water rushing through the creek is worth the stay on its own!
Because of this, the backyard is so special and serene. We designed it in a way where you could really disconnect from your busy life and let the nature reset you. There are stones to sit on, a fire pit, a patio, and a hammock over the creek.
Although we know you are here to reset, you'll still have Wifi (but please know Mountain wifi can have its struggles), TV with streaming services, and board games and puzzles to keep you busy. Plus, laundry machines.
Perhaps most special about this home is that it sits at the bottom of our 30-acre property. You will find a 100-year-old barn with animals, a few hiking trails, a flower garden (in the right seasons), and our vegetable garden. You are welcome to visit our animals, hike our trails, and maybe even grab some fresh eggs if our hens are being nice!
Please note the property is on the street and to access the larger property you will walk up the street to the next driveway and walk into the farm. The creek is the home's backyard, so you have to walk around it to get to the larger property with barn and trails.
Also, there are neighbors around as this house is located inside a typical country neighborhood, where homes are spread out, but neighbors are still present. We just want to mention in case you're looking for a completely secluded stay.

Other things to note
Some mountain homes have very scary driveways with narrow, rocky roads. The Creek House does not! It's a very easy drive into the neighborhood and to the driveway. The house sits on the street.
We have a regular coffee maker.
You will have towels, extra blankets, soap, shampoo, dish detergent, laundry detergent, extra paper towels, and toilet paper.
There is filtered water from the refrigerator and also a Brita inside the fridge.
There is also a pack-n-play with mattress and sheets available upon request.
If you book this home, please remember to plan your meals as we are 20 mins away from a grocery store. Most restaurants in the area close early and are often closed two days a week. Plus the Uber Eats is very limited.
