We had a large family gathering and this place was great. It is just as described, and it offers plenty of space. We enjoyed that it was located close to the beach and nice dining options were nearby. We would stay here again.
We had a terrific stay at the house. Lots of room for our family members and a beautiful marsh setting. Great place for a gathering, reunion or celebration.
The communication with the host was exceptional. The house was everything I was looking for for a family reunion/ fathers 90th birthday party. We had family coming from across the country and wanted a place to have the party and a place for everyone to stay. Plenty of room for everyone to stay and a wonderful backyard. Not a far walk from the beach either. If I ever need a place like this again, I would definitely book again.
Amazing views and easy access to beach, grocery store, and Portland. Great to have 4 full bathrooms. Plenty of space in general, plenty of pots and pans for cooking and well-placed fire pit. We came witb bug spray but didn’t need it. No mosqitos/bugs off the marsh in early October. Highly recommend!
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and the 4 time with this host. It never disappoints. Plenty of comfortable room for our family to enjoy just being together. See you next year!
Nice well-appointed house in a great location. Our family enjoyed being steps from the beach, watching birds in the marsh, night time fires, and cooking in the lovely well-appointed kitchen. Perfect for a three-generation family get together. Thank you for a lovely stay at Pine Point.
We all love the ocean and our location made for easy access to the beach. The house was roomy and everyone had a great time. The cottage ticked off all our needs. An outdoor shower and shed for bikes would make it perfect. Drew was responsive to our needs. We made lovely memories for our extended family.off all our needsf
Everything was advertised. Great location, 6 bedrooms and 4 baths for the 10 adults staying. Everything was clean, deck was really great as it accommodated our large gathering
We absolutely loved this house. Spacious. Nice rooms. Near the beach and not far from Portland. It’s the ideal spot. A great choice for any large family or group
Our family has been coming to the Maine shore for over 40 years and this beautifully renovated beach house was one of the most outstanding spots we have ever stayed in. Situated just a few blocks from the beach (and an easy walk) and right on the marsh, we enjoyed walks, sunsets, and for the new parents in our family, a few sunrises as well. We appreciated the two sets of washers and dryers, the well stocked kitchen, and the great back deck and back yard. The house also had plenty of beach chairs and carts for us to use, as well as towels and the linens. We never had any issues with the house once we arrived, but in advance the owner was easy to connect with and answered all of our questions promptly. We can't wait to return to this terrific Maine getaway.
House was large enough to accomodate one family of 6 and one of 5 with room to spare! Accessible to beaches and kids' amusement park. Beautiful back yard & view over the marsh especially at sunset. Do remember to bring bug spray.
Perfect house for our large family.Plenty of room for everyone.Nice short walk to beach.Beatiful views of marsh from back deck along with a firepit and cornhole etc.Plenty of parking too which is key in Pine Point.Walk to several restaurants as well.Great week will return!
My family enjoyed the beautiful marsh views during our stay at this lovely property. This spacious house more than accommodated our needs. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with linens, towels and kitchenware. The home is just a short walk to the beach and restaurants, and is perfect location for other nearby sights. We hope to return next year!
Nice renovated, older home with updates and plenty of room for our family. Great residential location only a few blocks from the beach and a few bars/restaurants. Kitchen is well stocked with the necessary tools & equipment and we appreciated the leave behinds (spices, condiments, bag of ice and paper towels, etc.)
Drew was attentive and good to work with. We loved the residential beach neighborhood and its proximity to Portland (20 min)
Great house and location! Could be better stocked with supplies
We had a great week at this house, the location and spaces were perfect for our two growing families. The house could use a good restocking of basic items like kitchen utensils, Pots and pans, and baking sheets, some of which were unusable. Made it a little hard to cook for 10 people but not the end of the world. Some issues with the TVs but we got them to work enough so we could watch the Olympics.
With that said we thoroughly enjoyed the house and the property and it did not bother us too much. The bedrooms were pretty nice and the location was great as it was a 5 minute walk to the beach.
This house was PERFECT! We are a family of 15 (3 generations). The bedrooms were great; mattresses comfortable; hangars; bureaus; hooks; closet space all more than adequate. Bathrooms are bright, clean with updated showers & fixtures. Kitchen too was well-stocked with good size refrigerator for 15 people. Towels, sheets all in good shape. Lots of beach chairs, carts for hauling to beach - plenty of sand toys & games. Easy walk to a lovely beach. Great deck and big yard. I can’t say enough about this property. We have rented all over the country so we know VRBOs and it is obvious this owner cares about his property and the comfort of his guests. Thank you Drew!
Our family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids…2 dogs) really enjoyed our stay in this spacious house. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. The house is comfortably decorated. Plenty of bedrooms and we didn’t even need to use one of the bedrooms. The dinner table had seating for 8, but we squeezed in 10. With small kids we really appreciated the downstairs family room where adults could gather while kids were sleeping (no bedrooms above this family room). There were renters in the adjoining house, but they were considerate and not loud. The backyard bugs were tough at times, but so were the flies at the beach (probably due to the unusual amount of rain the New England region has had over the past few weeks). With a breeze the bugs were not much of a problem. The home is just a short walk to the beach, which is a great beach for kids and adults. Highly recommended.
We stayed in the house for a wonderful week to celebrate a family milestone. Overall our stay was wonderful. The dinner table was big enough for all eight of us, both living rooms are nice and comfy, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely remodeled.
There were a few small issues that we noticed but it didn’t effect our stay. Some kind of loud pump in the basement ran a lot during our first couple of days, which kept my parents up at night (they slept on the first floor). The toilet paper holder in the third floor bathroom wouldn’t hold the roll, it kept sliding down. Some of the non-stick pots in the kitchen were all scratched, so we couldn’t use them. We couldn’t get the middle burner on the stove to work, no instructions were around and it wouldn’t light. The grill didn’t seem clean, so we put down foil before we grilled.
Again, overall it was great - these are just things we noticed that could use improvement. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to spend some relaxing time in Pine Point.
