The Ridge Ranch House is the perfect eco-tourism choice for nature seeking adults and groups or work crewse. We are strictly an ADULTS ONLY AND PET friendly Glampground unless you reserve the whole development by utilizing the Glampground listing and then children are allowed.
This home has an open floor plan and has been completely remodeled by the host over the last two years and went live in May. With enough space to comfortably sleep 8-10 guests and a multitude of opportunities to explore nature right in our back yard, you won’t be disappointed in this rustic chic remodel and its sweet price point.
Your group will enjoy the convenience of hiking, biking, horseback riding, deer and turkey hunting or simply foraging in the 2,106 acre Huckleberry Ridge State Conservation Area, which is a short 2 minute walk and “stone’s throw” from our front door or Big Sugar Creek Park just down the road
Enjoy the magnificent sunsets, star filled skies and solace from our hot tub that you can’t find at the loud, over crowded campgrounds down the road after a long day of kayaking any of our local crystal clear Ozark streams!
With two tiny cabins, the house and short term RV sites “The Ridge Ranch Glampground” has the ability to host groups of 12-20+ guests including 4 RV park sites with electric, water and a dump station there’s plenty of room for tent and hammock campers too!
Make sure to check out this separate entire Glampground listing out and book it to save fees when you are planning your next friends and/or family gathering or micro wedding because when you reserve the whole property, children are most certainly allowed. Rules do still apply for no children in the hot tub or fire pit areas for safety reasons.
Our Glampground is also home to Sugar Creek Kayak, owned and operated by your host Melissa and is the perfect destination for hunting groups to use the Huckleberry for deer and turkey hunting trips or smallmouth bass anglers to gather for multiple day fishing expeditions on Little Sugar, Big Sugar and Indian Creeks as well as the Elk River Special Management Area renowned for both small and largemouth bass populations.
Melissa is a 4th generation settler and lifelong resident of McDonald County and can arrange for your daily shuttle and even guide you to her secret big fish holes or give you a safe ride to and from local events as she is a registered Uber driver due to local demand.
Don’t own a kayak? No worries!!! Melissa has kayaks on site and has joined forces with The Greene’s Campground and Ozark Kayak to provide the boats and gear necessary to get your whole group on the water.
