Great getaway spot!

It was great! Loved the location! Far enough away but not too far from activities. Beautiful, modern cabin with so much space. Will book again!

Great Property for a Family Getaway

We had an amazing time at this property for our New Year’s getaway! The house is large enough to comfortably sleep 10 people, with space for everyone to spread out and enjoy some privacy if needed. The layout is perfect for a large group to gather or retreat to their own space. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful fire pit in the backyard, which was perfect for sitting around and making s’mores. There’s also a large patio where you can enjoy the outdoors and quiet surroundings. The house has Wi-Fi, but due to its location, the connection can be a bit spotty (we lost Wi-Fi for about a day and a half). As with most rentals, bring everything you need, this includes a hair dryer, house doesnt have one. The kitchen also lacks some cookware (we bought some items left them behind.A couple of other things worth mentioning: during the winter months, the master bedroom on the bottom floor could really use a warmer comforter – the bed only had a sheet, and it got pretty cold down there despite the house heater. We ended up using some twin-sized covers from the third floor to make it more comfortable. The house is pet-friendly, which is why we chose it, but there was a lot of dog hair left behind. We had to wash the bed linens on the third floor due to the hair. Overall, it was a great stay with family and friends, and we'd definitely stay here again. Would recommend for a spacious, relaxing getaway!

Spacious Cabin with Great Views, But Needs Maintenance Attention

We recently stayed at this cabin for a weekend getaway with three couples, two kids, and a dog. There was plenty of space for everyone, with each family having their own area, making it a great setup for families or groups. The cabin’s secluded location offered privacy and stunning views from two large porches overlooking the mountains. It was also conveniently close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which was a huge plus for day trips. However, there were some downsides. The water had a strong sulfur smell, so bad that we used bottled water to brush our teeth and couldn’t get dishes clean because of the greasy residue left behind. While maintenance was responsive, the hot tub was filthy the first full day, and we had issues with TV remotes and WiFi, though they were eventually resolved. We also noticed a lot of dead trees around the property that looked like they could fall at any time, and there were ants all over the kitchen after just one day. Overall, the cabin has a lot of potential, but the water issue and some maintenance concerns need attention. If these were addressed, it would be a fantastic spot for a mountain retreat.
