Charming old house with lots of potentials! Beautiful wooden floors and 15 foot ceilings. Several areas of the house need attention such as cabinets doors coming off, etc. Kitchen needs a microwave! Shower and king bed were amazing. Neighborhood is in downtown, older part of town, but was quiet after hours even with street traffic. Back and front yard need attention with clean up, long grass and other trash in back yard. Price was good for the area.

Horrible experience - No water!!

We arrived after a 7 hour drive, hauled all of our luggage up the steps which took several trips as we were continuing on to New Orleans where we would be for 2 weeks so we had a lot of stuff. My mom went to make a cup of tea and found that no water was coming out of the kitchen faucet. When we checked the bathroom no water came out of those faucets either. Or the shower and the toilets wouldn’t flush. I immediately messaged our host and said he had one hour to solve this issue or we were going somewhere else. After an hour with no response I reached out to VRBO customer service who agreed that my family and I could not stay there. So we hauled everything back into the car and checked into a motel. So instead of a 3 bedroom home for the weekend, we shared a single motel room with 2 queen beds because it was all we could find in the area that was pet friendly at such shirt notice. Two hours later the host finally responded to say he had no idea why there was no water but everything in the house was functional. Poor response time and disrespectful to my experience. Do not stay here.
