New Horse District Barn Apartment in 6 acre gated Winter Colony Estate w/Pool.

We are from Charleston and moved to Aiken for more direct access to Equestrian related activities and a slower pace of life. My wife and I enjoy renovating old houses. We want to share the fruits of our labor and the Winter Colony setting with others.

Horse District is all dirt roads and made up of old Winter Colony Estates, Polo Fields, The Thoroughbred Training Track, and Bruce's field. Hitchcock Woods and its 2100 acres sits directly across the street. It offers a great venue for hiking, trail rides, or just soaking in nature. The neighborhood is like living on a farm in the middle of the city.

The Devereaux Estate is a 6 acre compound surrounded by a 10ft brick wall. It is extremely private and quiet. The property is accessed through one of 2 gates. It is like living on a farm yet you are only a short walk away from the center of the City of Aiken. There is direct access to Hitchcock Woods and we are a half a block from the Polo Field where they play Polo every Sat/Sun at 3. We are also a short walk away from the Hunter/Jumper competitions at Bruce's Field. As a short term rental we are unique in that we are also able to provide partial boarding with our 10 stalls and paddocks. The barn is also equipped with a wash stall, laundry, and a nice tack room for entertaining.
