Ground floor flat in gated residence with parking space. Within easy walking distance of the town centre, beach and facilities. Views of the sea, town and mountains from the terrace which faces south and overlooks a garden belonging to the apartment block. The good-sized terrace is equipped with table and chairs, loungers and awnings. Free wifi access. Living room with sofa bed, television, DVD, games, videos, music centre, dining table and chairs. Bedroom with double/twin beds, wardrobe. Bedding and towels provided. Both rooms open onto the terrace through French windows.The bathroom has a full bath and shower fitments. Separate toilet. January stay at Les Baumettes

Excellent host and lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood but not too far from everything you would like in Nice.The only caution I have is that it is on a hill - excellent for the beautiful views but maybe a little difficult if you are older and not too fit. There is a bus however that takes you up this hill and it is wise to get to know the schedule!I highly recommend.

Nice

A great place for a longer stay with uninterrupted views from the terrace to the Hotel Negresco. We loved the apartment with its separate bedroom, living room and kitchen. The number 38 bus stop is close by which we used several times on rainy days. Evelyne was a wonderful help. back.

Lovely view and very well-equipped apartment

I loved my stay (for an entire month) in this apartment. The balcony overlooking Nice was magic! Unforgettable views, especially at sunrise or late at sunset, while having breakfast or eating dinner. It was comfortable with a very well-equipped kitchen. The complex itself was quiet, secure and handy to town. The hosts were all very quick to reply.

Beautiful views

This is a lovely cosy and comfortable apartment. Major plusses for us: the water pressure in the shower was great and the bed was really comfortable with good quality sheets. The apartment is in a really quiet and well maintained complex and being able to relax on the terrace and enjoy the spectacular views was fabulous.

Great Appartement

It is a clean apartment with quite a large balcony and all the facilities you need to be self sufficient for a week of holiday. The contact was very friendly. What I liked most was the view of the sea, not only from the balcony but from the bed. It is about 15 m walk to the nearest stretch of beach/ promenade and 20 minutes walk to the old town. But there are also regular buses nearby.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay here. The property is up a hill though so if you have no car you need to be fit. Unfortunately the property manager was on holiday so her friend met us but we were given the wrong handbook so didn’t find out short cuts into town etc until we were checking out. Great facilities here though except it didn’t have air con but I don’t think many properties do in Nice. Would stay again though. P

Lovely host and apartment

Return visit and even better. Bathroom has been upgraded plus kitchen has a dishwasher. Bus 38 and tram 2 makes everything in Nice accessible. The view from the balcony is awesome. Lovely host Evelyn made our stay even better especially as our flight out was badly delayed.

Nice and cosy flat

There was everything we needed in the flat . We loved the nice wiew from the balcony. It was Easy to get to the center of Nice by flot or by bus. We was welcomed by Evelyne and she was very helpful to introduce us to the place.

Nice place, good views

There is a lot positive here, starting with Evelyne, the agent. Friendly & welcoming. The apartment is clean with a very comfortable bed, and pleasant terrace. The negatives are the lack of decent groceries and/or restaurants nearby, the steep walk up the hill, and the distance to the tram.

A fine view of Nice

Very homely and practical apartment. The main feature is the balcony overlooking Nice where we spent most of our time. The walk up the hill to the apartment is challenging for older people but once you are familiar with the bus it is no problem. The manager Evelyne could not have been more helpful and even the owner M. Cassie paid us a visit. I can recommend this property.

Ample space & balcony

Evelyne was at the appointed place to meet me and on time. She explained everything very well and didn’t rush me while I figured out the keys. The apartment is within a 15 min walk from the station and tram on Jean Medicin. The beach is 20 mins down the back road - a nice walk through the Baumettes neighbourhood. The #38 bus gets you right into the old town and the bus schedule is very regular. The bus stop is also on the back road and very accessible. It costs €1.50 per ride or €1.00 per ride if you buy 10 tickets! It takes approximately 15 mins. Otherwise you can walk it in 20-25 mins. The apartment is dated but everything worked well. The shower had great power, the apartment is spacious and the balcony superb. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment. Mr Fassi delivered 4 fans to me when the temperature soared. It is not a stones throw from the beach but an easy walk down to the beach using the back road. You can of course go through the middle of the city to the beach too. That will take you 20 mins depending on the beach you prefer. Evelyne was very kind in giving me a lift to the Alsace-Lorraine tram to travel to the airport at the end of my visit. I had a huge suitcase having been in France for 2 1/2 months. Happy travels.

Le parking est le maillon faible, l'engoisse du soir au retour de la balade est la chance d'avoir un emplacement pour se garer. De plus l 'appartement mériterait un rafraîchissement.

L'appartement est situé dans un endroit avec une vue idéale et des vues dégagées de la mer jusqu'aux montagnes. Il n'y avait aucune envie de quitter la terrasse, qui est équipée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. L'aménagement de salon-salle à manger, de la chambre, de la cuisine et de la salle de bain est également parfait. La proximité de la plage et de la vieille ville est tout à fait acceptable. Le quartier est calme et nous n'avons pas été dérangés par quoi que ce soit. Nous vous remercions.

Un séjour formidable à Nice - ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Nizza !

Wir wurden wunderbar und sehr herzlich von Evelyne empfangen, die uns alles ausführlich erklärte incl. Einweisung in die Parkmöglichkeiten unseres PKW. Die Erreichbarkeit für Rückfragen war durchgehdend gewährleistet. Die Wohnung war sehr reinlich, ist mit allem ausgestattet und von der (großen) Terrasse gibt es einen tollen Blick auf die Meeresbuch vor Nizza, den wir sehr genossen haben !. Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet, ist also auch für Flugreisende sehr gut geeignet. Die Wohnung liegt nicht drekt im Stadtzentrum, das Zentrum ist aber einfach mit der Buslinie 38, die direkt vor den Résidences des Baumettes in kurzen Abständen hält, sehr einfach erreichbar (in Nizza bewegt man sich ohnehin besser mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln). Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, eine tolle Stadt und ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Vielen Dank et encore une fois un grand merci à vous, Evelyne !!! Alex & Marco

Appartement très agréable

Nous avons beaucoup aimé ce logement: propre, fonctionnel, très bien placé, proche de la mer en quelques minutes à pieds. L'appartement est très bien équipé. Nous étions 4, 2 adultes et 2 enfants de 11 et 13 ans. On a beaucoup apprécié le balcon: vue superbe sur Nice et la mer, spacieux (on peut donc y prendre son petit déjeuner, au soleil, ou y déjeuner. La gérante est très sympathique.

Enjoyed stay

Although dated, the apartment was clean, well equipped, adequately spacious and afforded panoramic views. Manager Evelyn was pleasant and most helpful. Bus line stop in front of building was convenient but does not run ofter or late. Taxi rides to town are about 8-10€. I recommend this apartment.

Why they chose this property

The owners are English teachers and also live in the vicinity. They had always thought of buying some property which could either be used by family and friends or be let out. The two possibilities have perfectly suited them since buying the flat in 2007.

What makes this property unique

They fell in love with the views from the terrace and the potentials it offered for resting in the quiet or eating in the open. They also appreciated the comfortable and spacious layout of the place. The previous occupants had developped a sentimental attachment to it, which made it clear it that it was just what they needed.
