Welcome! Come and experience one of Rosario's finest and most historic homes. A stone's throw from the marina, you'll have convenient access to seasonal kayak rentals and whale watching tours. Revel in the breathtaking views of the sound from the hot tub or picture window seats, the renowned hiking trails, lakes, and Moran State Park, just a five-minute drive away. This home is uniquely located next to the Rosario Village Resort.
Featuring 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room includes a pull-out sleeper sofa, and there's a fold-down daybed in the four-season room. A Pack 'n Play is also available. Come relax in the hot tub and watch the boats sail buy.

What an awesome property

Kristen was an excellent communicator. Let us check in early and leave late. The kitchen was well stocked for our needs. The house was immaculate and location was quiet and peaceful with an amazing view. Hot-tub was clean and pristine. We brought our dog and she loved the big open field at Rosario across the street. Would defintely stay here again!!

Great house great host

The 1888 house is charming and beautiful. Kristen had the house ready and warm for us when we arrived, and was quick to answer any small questions we had during our stay. We all agree that next time we go to Orcas we will try to book this house again!

Perfectly cozy stay in a beautiful historic Rosario home

Our family of 5 adults (3 generations) had a lovely winter stay in the perfect cottage. The view was unparalleled, the furniture and beds cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen extremely well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Smart TV has all the apps for watching movies. We would love to come back.

Beautiful home for family getaway

It was our first trip to Orcas and we couldn't have picked a better house for our family stay. The house is beautiful and perfectly decorated. We always cook dinner at our VRBO and this was the best kitchen we've ever had. Everything we needed was there. It was a little rainy and chilly and the fireplace was awesome to sit by with a glass of wine after our afternoon hike. We even got to see otters run out of the side yard and into the lagoon. We will definitely be back on Orcas in the future and will be staying at Newhall House.

Spectacular Stay at The Newhall House

My friend, dog and I had such a wonderful stay at The Newhall House in Eastsound. Kristen was an incredible host and accomodated our every need. Communication was fantastic. Lots of wonderful amenities. Very stocked kitchen. And, the views are just stunning. I cannot wait to return and keep exploring. I would be glad to stay with Kristen again.

Originally from Canada, I've lived in Nebraska and near Seattle before planting my roots and starting a family on Orcas Island. I absolutely adore it here and consider myself fortunate to raise my daughter in such a beautiful place. My hobbies include spending time at the beach, enjoying the lake, and engaging in cooking and canning.

Established in 1888, Rosario offers a rich history within its walls and allows you to appreciate the beauty shaped by generations. A short walk to the marina enables you to fly in from Lake Union, Seattle, or engage in whale watching or kayaking without the need for a long trek. The views and natural surroundings are a must-experience. By night, the barking of sea lions and the singing of toads fill the air, while during the day, you're likely to feed a deer (they have a fondness for apples!). The water views are breathtaking, and in the spring, rainbows following a gentle rain may make you a believer in leprechauns.
For those seeking relaxation, unwind in the private hot tub overlooking the water. Gather your family or friends for some yard games on the mansion's well-kept lawn.
Please note that Rosario Mansion is currently undergoing renovations. Updates on the availability of resort amenities will be provided as they come.
