We had a wonderful time visiting family and enjoying our cozy cottage and of course beautiful T Lake. Cottage was clean, very comfortable, well supplied. Highly recommend
When you and your family want to come back, you know the place is worth coming back too. All of us loved this home, and all agreed we would like to come again.
The location is beautiful. Sunrise on the lake is breathtaking. The house is pleasant and livable. The master bath is incredibly cramped and it is difficult to stand in front of the sink. The house would greatly benefit from hooks and towel bars in both bathrooms. As it is there is no place to hang a wet towel. Despite that, it was a very nice stay.
Beautiful setting on quiet bay, leading to lake.
Very clean, had a couple of minor issues and owner responded
promptly which was appreciated. Fishing was excellent.
Would come back.
We currently have other family members staying on Tee Lake and this cabin allowed us to be near family, while having our own space too,
The location was perfect, and the lot had a beautiful view of the lake from inside the cabin and from the large lakefront yard.
The owners were great at communicating and even went above and beyond by installing their boat dock before we arrived when I indicated we were renting a boat for the week.
The cabin was pretty clean. However, there was a pizza found in the oven and extra items left in the refrigerator.
We would definitely rent again. It was a perfect Michigan , up-north week.
Just as advertized with one exception. Checkout time was changed to early time. Owner gave earlier checkin time to compensate but we had a 5 hour drive so it was not beneficial to us.
The cabin was very nice and spacious which is great when you have little ones that want to run through and play games. The cabin updates are great and the beds were very comfortable (has been a problem with places we have stayed in the past). The shower/tub was also great for little ones at the end of the night. The laundry room was great to have onsite.
The water was warm, shallow and clear. Some dirt settles on the sand but as you walk in it, it clears and drifts away. We were sad to leave!!!
Thank you for letting us enjoy your property.
plenty of room . relaxing outdoor space, good dock area for kayaks. Water is shallow and a little silty, could have used a lake rake that we could use. We brought our kayaks but would be nice to have some kayaks or a paddle boat provided. Neighbors were friendly . Two complaints 1. the kitchen other than saucepans or frying pans was poorly stocked. No baking pans , common kitchen utensils were not available and Keurig in picture was missing parts so not usable. 2. The internet was not working, it took three messages to owner before response was sent back to us on the third day. Other than the issues above we had a good time.

Quiet, relaxing environment, lots of natural beauty
This lakeside house has a pleasant view of a wooded island and one can see wildlife, including loons. The waterfront is shallow and children could wade and splash safely. The neighbors were friendly, but quiet. The place is in good repair, but it needed a good dusting. It was a very convenient place to stay while we were visiting family members in the area. We all are experienced North Country cabin-dwellers, and tolerate sand, spiders and the smell of sweat and mosquito repellent. Our only problem was with the interior. The floors had balls of dog hair wafting around. The closets were packed with the owners' personal items and we had to clear a small space to hang our few things. The bathrooms were clean, but one of the beds had not been changed since someone else had slept in them. We needed to wash the sheets, and luckily the place had a washer and dryer available. One of the bedrooms was obviously the place where the dog slept. There was a folded blanket near the sofa bed, and we thought it was intended for someone sleeping there to use during a chilly night. But only one whiff made it clear that the blanket was really a dog bed. We threw that in the wash, too. The refrigerator was half full of half-empty food containers and the glass shelves needed a good scrubbing. It looked as though someone had only recently vacated in a big hurry. However, the price per person was more economical than the area's motel accommodations.
Perfect for a small family or a getaway with a significant other. The place was bigger than I expected, had on site laundry and the property manager communicated quickly and effectively. We have already booked for next year!
This is a clean, comfortable, well stocked, nicely updated cabin. Could use a little more or better lighting in the living room and main bedroom, mainly for reading. We were there in late October so I can't say if the lake is good for swimming in the summer but definitely easy to get in with a very low bank and nice dock. We had great bonfires down by the lake and plenty of peace and quiet. Overall I would highly recommend.
The cabin was just wonderful. It was VERY clean and communication with the owner was prompt, friendly and helpful. The yard is a great size and we loved hanging out by a fire right on the shore of the lake! I agree with others who remarked the lake island directly in front of the cabin is great because it makes you feel more secluded and private without looking at only cabins surrounding the lake. We brought our kayaks and it was nice to float around the lake. The property is well cared for and updated just as you'd want in a cabin getaway. We went for long trail rides through the woods and came home to play games and relax, so it was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for letting us stay this weekend. We'll definitely be back!
This was a perfect spot for our girl's weekend. For being on a populated lake it felt private and cozy with the island out front. Cabin was well kept and decorated and had everything we needed. Brought our own canoes and launched right off the new dock with many places to paddle on the lake.

fishing?
the ad photos of the lake are very deceiving.....
you got about 50ft of shallow water across to the island. making it a channel. There are no fish not even minnows in the channel. Talked w/ a neighbor he said you need to be on the main lake its over 100ft deep in the middle and good fishing. a row boat or paddle boat would be very nice. w the property. the cabin/house is well kept up (except for the oven).everything including towels and linens. you just have to open a few doors n drawers to see where things are stored. the cabin felt very comfortable and doing laundry is a plus. a couple spare rolls of t.p would be nice. I needed to unwind and ground my self... I did it there. We came and went from the side mudroom much easier, bringing things in or out. and not tracking things in on our feet. left the small front room closed off . I would come back .
The cabin was very clean and spacious. The shower was very large with plenty of hot water. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable for us but the pull out bed in the den needs to be considered for retirement.
The rooms were bright and the view of the lake channel is awesome. You don't have full view of the lake ...... you have better. An island sits directly out from property which is not cluttered with houses or boat docks and lifts, just a pleasant view of undisturbed shoreline.
The appliances show their wear and tear, but they work.
Plenty of towels, blankets, utensils, cooking items and dinnerware.
If you want a quiet relaxing get-a-way and don't need "things to see" and "places to go".......then this place is perfect!
There are restaurants and gas stations in town approximately 4 miles away. Also a hardware store and grocery store.
Across the lake is the public boat launch.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely set up another trip again.
This cabin was GREAT! There’s so much space & the yard was big for my kids to play outside and not be right next to the water.
The rooms were clean, plenty of room & the half bath in the one bedroom was a nice added bonus! The owner was beyond helpful & really nice to me. It was our first time renting (our friends live on the lake but we wanted to have our own space since we are a family of 6) and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, or place! Memories were made for my family in a time that’s been so difficult for everyone. For that I’m appreciative & would highly recommend this place.
This cottage is a nice place to stay. Just a headsup to whomever stays here and Sprint as you mobile carrier, you will have limited coverage. Our hotspots did not work on our phones and texting was sporadic. But there is a great coffeeshop in town called The Pour House with great food, great atmosphere and Wifi.

Nice place but some clarifications would be helpful.
Nice, clean, and spacious.
Wifi signal is poor and resets a lot. The Gas Grill is subpar and very old. Micro doesn't function properly and the coffee maker still had grounds in it from the previous guest. The view of the lake is different from what is shown on the listing. It's been brought up by other guests as well so I'm not sure why they keep the same photo. There is a island in front of the property blocking the majority of the view of the lake. Either way, nice and quiet place with a nice dock and friendly neighbors. I'd recommend staying but would be mindful of the above items when booking.
Listing was pretty accurate enjoyed our stay bath room toilets a little tight especially the half bath main bedroom bed comfortable bedroom 2 should update bed , living room spacious and kitchen -dining room fine ( should add a couple of folding chairs to use around kitchen table) would consider renting again in future

Disliked: Location
Ok.... I guess...
House: The house itself was very nice and comfortable. HOWEVER... there aren’t three bedrooms. There are two bedrooms and a fairly comfy sofa bed in the entryway. That was NOT what I was expecting and frankly it took my daughter a couple days to feel comfortable sleeping there.
Cleanliness: Given the current COVID Numbers I was concerned about how the house would be cleaned between guests so I was expecting the house to be exceptionally clean. It was not. There were fingerprints/handprints on every glass surface including the Tvs and mirrors. There was a used juice bottle left on the table and a dirty towel left in the entryway. Plus the house just didn’t smell clean. I know that sounds picky but I was expecting it to be much fresher and cleaner because I was told that all hard surfaces would be cleaned with bleach.
Location: Two things here. 1.) Yes technically this house is on a lake... BUT there is an island that is directly in front of the house which means two things... a) you don’t have a clear view of the lake and b.) it creates more of a channel location. The water is quite shallow and is only sandy bottomed until you reach the end of the dock (a little over knee length water) then it turns very sludgy and mucky. There is A LOT of floating debris that gets kicked up when you move around in the muck. 2.) Lewiston... unless you like to golf there is nothing to do in Lewiston. The closest spots to do anything are between 30-40 minutes away. If you are planning on using the cabin as a home base that you venture out and explore other places from... it’s a bit of a trek to get to those other places.
Overall... just not what I was hoping for. Was the stay acceptable... I guess... the house itself is very nice and we could easily sleep, eat, and shower there. Will I choose to stay there again... no... between the location and the lackluster cleanliness I would choose to stay somewhere else.
