Manhattan Beach is one of the most charming towns in the US. This incredible apartment is not only right in town and really close to the ocean, it is also super quiet. Recently remodeled, it is spacious, up the street from the beach, and around the corner from incredible restaurants, grocery shopping, boutiques, and the fabulous MB Creamery. Park your car and walk everywhere! Sun and ocean breezes come in throughout the day. You will be calling your friends to tell them about the steal you found in Manhattan Beach. It’s designed specifically to be extremely comfortable for a fabulous getaway.
The apartment has unique amenities. You will have a coveted parking spot right in town (PLEASE NOTE - A LARGE SUV WILL NOT FIT IN THE PARKING SPOT). It's also one of the few places at the beach with air conditioning (Hopefully not needed, but you never know). For kids and adults we have sand toys, boogey boards, beach towels and umbrellas. And of course, the unbeatable location.

This is an apartment to relax in with friends or family. Absolutely no parties whatsoever, or loud noise. Please respect the neighbors.

Note that the unit is on a second story and that it is not handicapped or wheelchair accessible.

Check in is 4pm and check-out is 11am. Key-less entry with an individual code for each guest for optimal safety.

Absolutely Perfect Getaway

Allisen’s apartment is an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the coastal-chic vibe of the place, and amazing location. Being just blocks away from the beach was wonderful, and the charming neighborhood, with its sweet local stores and restaurants, added so much to our experience.The apartment itself was simply perfect. It had absolutely everything we could possibly need – from a much-appreciated coffee machine in a well-equipped kitchen to fun games for the evenings and even boogie boards for enjoying the waves, and plenty of beach towels. Everything was spotlessly clean, remarkably quiet, and so beautifully decorated; it truly felt like a home away from home.On top of all that, communication with the host was fantastic – always prompt and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was also completely seamless and stress-free.We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed, and we are already looking forward to our next stay.

Perfect stay

We had a family trip out to Manhattan Beach (4 adults and a toddler) and this place was perfect; it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It is located very close to restaurants/shops, and the pier. Highly recommend!

Perfect family getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay here so much, the place was immaculate, all the details have been thought about (extra towels, beach toys and chairs, etc.) You can walk to anywhere in the main part of Manhattan Beach!

Home away from home!

We loved staying at this home. It was incredibly well located....so easy to walk to restaurants, the beach and the grocery store! Great bagel and coffee shop nearby too! Lovely two bedroom home, very clean and nicely furnished. There were even condiments and coffee in frig! Washer dryer and all of the amenities of home. The owner is a dream to work with! We'll be back for sure!

We spent 8 nights at this beautiful Manhattan beach location! Loved every minute of our stay. House was perfect for our family of 5-endless supply of Besch & bathroom towels - essential for our 3boys!! V comfy beds & the location was just incredible. Minutes walk from the beach which was so beautiful - We went running in the mornings & had lots of sunset swims. We tried a lot of the hosts restaurant recommends. All were great - we adored Martha’s (walk was just beautiful) & Slay Italian. Our host couldn’t have been more accommodating as was the host manager - so kind & helpful with all our requests. Than you Allisen & Claire for everything. We’ll definitely be back . Would highly recommend

Great property for our stay

This was a great little property for our stay, we were in town visiting family. The location is an easy walk downtown and up to our family's house. Property was clean and cozy. My only reservation was the garage door that is controlled by the other tenants and the opening of the door began at 5:30AM. Other than that - cutest home in a beautiful location, we appreciate the opportunity to stay!

I highly recommend this place. It was perfect within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Grocery store one block away. It was quiet and peaceful.

Fantastic rental!

This was one of the best set up rentals I have ever stayed at! I am a host as well and I even took photos of some of the things that were done in the house that were great ideas! Location is perfect as well. I travel to Manhattan Beach about 3 times a year and will definetly be renting this property again!

Can not say enough about how perfect this place was! The location could not have been any better for us- a short walk to town, the beach, and the best restaurants MB has to offer! Manhattan Beach Gem!

We loved staying at this property and will definitely be returning! From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, welcoming, and just right for our family. Allisen, the owner, was incredibly kind, helpful, and reassuring. She and her husband were very thoughtful when putting the apartment together and all the little details made a huge difference during our stay (outlets attached to the wall for easy plug-in access, laundry pods ready for use, beach towels included, TV trays near the kitchen, a few condiments available for use, the right amount of dishes and utensils, comfortable linens, and more). The apartment was comfortable, clean, and very cozy. This property is a gem!

Truly Great Apartment

I highly recommend this property. Its location is superb - a short walk from the beach (towels and chairs provided) and from the cafes, boutiques, restaurants of Manhattan Beach. A well-stocked supermarket (Vons) is literally right around the corner. The apartment itself is immaculate and has superb contemporary decor from hardwood floors to metro tiling. Our son is currently very interested in sea life and was delighted to see pictures of turtles adorn his bedroom. There are also fascinating historical prints of the area on the stairway. The apartment is very well equipped with a separate washer and dryer, a large smart TV, microwave, dishwasher and oven. Less tangible but just as important is the great feel of being in the apartment and clearly the care and thought behind making it so pleasant. The apartment comes with a car bay - it is a tight space but it did accommodate our mid size SUV and there is some free street parking too. We had a self inflicted problem with the electronic lock (a mis-pressed digit) but Allisen was very responsive - there was a back up plan (a physical key in a key safe) and Allisen also decided to order a brand new (foolproof! ) electronic lock. In our experience the title 'great apartment' is well justified

I grew up in Manhattan Beach, and spent most of my life there until moving to Colorado with my family. Desperate to get back to the beach but I haven't worn my husband down yet. As a family we love to travel the world, and have stayed in numerous vacation rentals. We know what guests love. Clean, well stocked, relaxing and the feeling that owners care about their properties and aren't just using them to make a quick buck. We are excited to be renting the apartment again as a vacation rental because it means we can stay there too!

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is perfect! While we don't have a deck or ocean view, it has absolutely everything else, including a ton of natural light. It's so fun to walk out the door right into town. The neighborhood is quiet. The apartment is part of a duplex, but only shares one back wall with the house. The neighbors are wonderful. Most importantly, if you are looking for a fun, relaxing vacation in MB this apartment is perfect.

What makes this property unique

Not to be redundant, but the location. Additionally we have two twins beds in the second bedroom so it's more comfortable for families. It's not cluttered and doesn't feel tired. Just about everything is new or relatively new. We love this apartment and treat it like our home. It's possible we could rent it for more than we are asking, but we'd rather be helping people make memories in MB than having it go unused. Enjoy!
