Guys Golf Trip

The Yellow House is the perfect spot for our group of 14 guys. The great room gave us space for all to watch the NCAA basketball tournament. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and clean. We will be back

Family Gathering

The house was perfect for our family gathering (us, four grown children, and our grandchildren). There was space where we could all be together and enough rooms to also be spread out. We would definitely return for another family reunion.

Yellow House Stay

The house size was perfect for our group of 21. Lots of spaces for the children and adults to spread out. However, it was not clean. Dirt along the walls and corners in the bathrooms, couch cushions had crumbs, fridge was dirty, etc. If it had been clean we couldn’t have asked for better! And the price was very reasonable, for that size of house.

Great place for multi families

So many beds and rooms. Great for families! We had an enjoyable stay. It is next to a gun shop and right off a main road. I wish I had google mapped it but the backyard was in the back and the house was fantastic

Lots of space

The Yellow House offers plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and several areas where people can sit down and visit. It has a huge flat yard that is great for badminton and wiffle ball games. The patio and fire pit work well for smores. Lots of shade trees and plenty of parking.

Wedding Central

This was was perfect as a home base for our whole family in from out of town for a wedding. Lots of space to socialize, plenty of bathrooms for wedding prep, and it really will sleep 25 (beds for 20).

Early season golf trip

The Yellow House fit our needs perfectly and Lori was more than accommodating when i misunderstood the second payment policy. This wasn't our first visit to the Yellow House and it certainly won't be our last.

Great place for group in town for football game

Our group of 10 (ages 4 - 40+) enjoyed our stay at the yellow house. Close to grocery store and short drive from downtown and campus. Ample parking for our group and PLENTY OF BEDS! We enjoyed the back patio and firepit. Far enough away from other houses, we weren't afraid to disturb neighbors. Would rent again for a similar situation.

Family Celebration Stay

We were in town for our son's wedding - and the house is perfect for his groomsman & our family. We were able to comfortably host a post wedding day party for at least 40 people. The house is large, and yet cozy. The owner was quickly available when we had questions prior to booking. This home checked off all the boxes for what we needed this week.

Great stay

Had a family reunion with 41 folks for an afternoon and evening of fun. Used the propane cooker and built a fire in the fire pit. All went well. Not all stayed over night, but of those who stayed it was a positive experience.

Great Scrapbooking Getaway for our group of 9 friends

Perfect house for our scrapbook getaway. Plenty of space for tables and plenty of beds for the group to have their own bed and space. Extra bathrooms were nice as well, so we didn't have to coordinate showers etc. The only issue we had was one bathroom got missed for cleaning, but I am sure it was just an oversight.

Perfect gathering place!!

We chose this house for our out of town kids to stay during a family wedding. The rooms are large with so many beds and private bathrooms for each!! So many rooms to gather in and spread out in. Great location, convenient to everything in Columbia. Communication with host is excellent, very welcoming and friendly. Very reasonably priced. Perfect for large gatherings. I tell everyone about it!!! Thanks for hosting us!!!

Yellow House weekend stay

The Yellow House offered just what we needed and wanted for our family reunion. We were able to house everyone, and had places to be together and places to be apart. The large, mostly flat yard was great for activities with the kids. We appreciated having two refrigerators. Plenty of parking for all our cars. Things inside were not so precious that we were worried about being there. Host was very responsive to a couple of requests and questions before our stay.

Burgess Family stay

Our stay was what we needed, the house was large enough to accommodate our needs. There was some areas of the house that needed cleaned, like under the beds but other than that we had a wonderful stay. I would recommend the Yellow House to others to rent. We did have a storm go through Columbia and we lost power for a short time but as a former Boy Scout we were prepared and I bought a camp stove and was able to fix supper. We did get power back on quickly. It was a good stay.

Our experience at the Yellow House

We really enjoyed staying here, works great for our family. Looking forward to staying here at Christmas. However the last two times we were there, the kitchen was dirty. We had to wipe off the counters and sink before we could use them. The oven needs a really good cleaning. The rest of the house is great. Just think they need to talk to the cleaning crew. Looking forward to staying there again.

Spacious but Shabby

The property manager was great in terms of communication. However, the pictures don't reflect the age of the house with its stained carpets and lumpy mattresses. We also had an issue with ants in the kitchen. On the plus side, there is ample space for large families with plenty of beds and bathrooms.

Really cool place

This was a great rental for us. We originally we're going to have four families coming in for a funeral, but we had one of them get hospitalized and there ended up just being two families. Even if we had had 4 families this would have been a great house. There are lots of spaces to fellowship and to just get away. The one drawback is that the internet was so slow as to be unusable. The speed was less than a M and upload was .25 M. I couldn't even check email. Other than that this was a great rental.
