We’re delighted to have you as our guests and hope you enjoy your stay. Our home is a special place, perfect for relaxation and fun. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone, we’ve put together a few house rules. Please take a moment to read through them.

1. Respect the Property and Neighbors: Please be respectful of our property and neighbors. Avoid loud noises, especially during quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.
2. No Smoking: Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the house and within 15 feet (5 meters) of the property. A $500 fee will be charged for any violations.
3. Pets Allowed:
• Pets are welcome! There is a pet fee of $150 per pet.
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
• Clean up after your pet prior to departure.
• Should you not clean up after your pet, there will be an additional $200 fee related to pet waste.
• If you bring a pet without notifying us, there will be a penalty of $100 per pet.
4. No Third-Party Bookings: The person who booked the stay must be the one to stay in the property. Third-party bookings are not allowed, except for companies booking for their employees.
5. Visitors are only allowed with prior approval from the host. Unauthorized visitors or gatherings will result in a fine of $800.
6. Extra Guests: Any additional guests beyond the specified limit will incur a charge of $100 per extra guest per night.
7. Early Check-In/Late Check-Out: Please arrange with us in advance if you need early check-in or late check-out.
8. Check-Out Instructions: Please dispose of trash in the bins located outside. Please rinse dirty dishes and put them in the dishwasher and run it if there is a dishwasher. Follow any additional check-out instructions provided.
9. Trash Collection: Trash is collected every Monday morning. If your stay includes a Sunday, please take the bins to the curb Sunday night and bring them back after collection on Monday.
10. Kayaks, Paddle Boards and Fishing Rods Rules:
• Kayaks and Paddle Boards Usage: Life jackets must be worn at all times while using the kayaks.
• Safety Disclaimer: Use of kayaks and fishing rods is at your own risk. The property owner is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur while using these items.
• Damage Responsibility: Guests are responsible for any damage to the kayaks, paddle boards or fishing rods. Please report any damages immediately.
11. Parking: Follow the parking instructions provided. Unauthorized parking may result in towing at the guest’s expense.
12. Prohibited Items: Fireworks, sparklers, and hazardous materials are not allowed on the property.
13. Illegal Activities: No illegal drug use, abuse, or harboring of fugitives. Violations will result in immediate termination of the stay without a refund.
14. Internet Service: High-speed internet is provided as a convenience. No refunds for connectivity issues or personal preferences.
15. Linen and Towels: Initial linens and towels are provided. No daily housekeeping is available without additional charges.
16. Maintenance and Cleanliness: Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly. Claims without proper documentation may not be addressed.
17. Liability Waiver: Guests agree to read, understand, and adhere to the Liability Waiver included at the end of the listing description. A signed liability waiver is required within 48 hours of booking. Guests agree to indemnify and hold the owner harmless from any personal injury or property damage. We also recommend purchasing travel insurance.
18. ID Verification: Upon arrival, we may need to verify your ID for security purposes.
19. No Swimming in the Lake: Swimming in the lake is at your own risk. Children must be supervised by adults at all times when near the water and when entering the dock. Entering the dock is also at your own risk.
20. Wildlife Notice: Our home is located in a semi-rural area, offering a peaceful retreat. Occasionally, you might see wildlife such as foxes, deer, snakes, or wolves, though these sightings are rare. Please be cautious and mindful of your surroundings, especially when outdoors. The property owner is not responsible for any injuries caused by wildlife or insect bites.

All cameras monitor exterior areas only for your safety and do not capture any interior or private spaces. Your privacy is important to us.
