'Mood' By Fox-Homes Lekki Phase1
BRAND NEW!
"Mood" A unique space crafted by Fox-homes Global, explores human-robot collaboration through African culture. The color palette ranges from dove to dark charcoal with mustard accents, creating a calm, mysterious atmosphere. The living room centers around "Mama Mood," a piece representing AI as a fictional "mood demon." Each space, from the emotive mood tunnel to the art-filled bathroom, celebrates emotional depth, cultural heritage, and strength.
The space
Welcome to our unique space “Mood”, another classic from Fox-homes Global. “Mood” is where the age of human and robot collaboration comes to life, interpreted through the lens of indigenous African culture. This fusion has inspired a design that not only embraces this collaboration but also explores the emotional complexities it brings to our daily lives.
Color Palette
Our experimental color palette ranges from dove to dark charcoal, and infusing mustard yellow as one of the accent colors creating a calm yet mysterious atmosphere. The deep tones invite you to uncover the secrets that lie within the dark, setting the stage for a journey into the unknown.
Living Room
The living room is the heart of our space, anchored by "Mama Mood," an accent art piece by the talented local artist and directed my Chibueze and Asuama. This masterpiece encapsulates the human-AI collaboration, reimagined as a fictional "mood demon" in an African context. The TV console, crafted with POP and painted to reflect ocean waves, symbolizes the highs and lows of our emotional experiences. Also featured is a vintage couch and record player that reminds us of how things were before this collaboration.
Mood Tunnel
As you walk through the tunnel, you are greeted by a word cloud showcasing a cocktail of emotions we all carry daily. This space serves as a reminder of the emotional rollercoaster that is part of the human experience.
Bedroom
The bedroom strikes a balance between masculine and feminine energy, with a custom rocky headboard that symbolizes the inner strength we need to navigate our emotions. Dark crystal chandeliers add a touch of magical glitter, creating a space that feels both powerful and serene. We decided to infuse mauve sheets to tone it down to make it more metro. We understand that you will love to play hard while you work so we added a workstation so that you can stay in touch with the “bag”
Bathroom
Our bathroom is adorned with art inspired by strong Maasai women, whose roles in preserving their culture are symbolized through their teaching and beadwork. This painting not only evokes the strength of Maasai culture but also adds a layer of powerful feminine seduction, making this space a tribute to resilience and heritage. We are very deliberate about adding a bathtub into this space because we know that there is no vacation without a soaking experience.
This is more than just a stay; it's an experience that blends the future with the rich traditions of the past, all within a space that resonates with emotional depth and cultural significance.
