Connie, is always amazing. This is our second stay at this lovely get away. The house is always clean and welcoming. The property is always maintained and we have had the pleasure of enjoying it both in the winter and the summer. The upstairs bathroom is such a treat for a hot bath with an amazing view. The sunsets are hard to beat in the Midwest. The surrounding area is gorgeous with fields and lakes with tons of birds. The nearby towns have great amenities and fun antiquing. We loved it so much we have relocated from Oregon to South Dakota. Although we had to move into the city we sure do love the country out here and can not wait for more stays at our favorite get away. You will have no regrets staying here! It’s huge too! Lots of beds and room for a big group or family. Thanks Connie for always making us feel amazing at your lovely get away!
The property is a nice and quiet location. It's close to popular ice fishing lakes. Our stay was cold at -10 degrees outside. Inside, it would only get to 60 degrees on the main level. The upstairs bedroom area would only get to 55 degrees. At one point, my room was only 49 degrees. I guess I would consider this a seasonal property in it's current state.
My family and I stayed for two months at this beautiful property. It was clean, well stocked, huge house with multiple rooms. The property is gorgeous, the storms and skies were a wonderful sight to see. The wildlife was epic, birds of every sort, lightning bugs at night were so fun, deer, and so much more. My daughter had a blast catching little toads and also got to see the whole process of a mama wren laying eggs, hatching the eggs and watching them grow up and fly away. It was a great time, very secluded and quiet with very friendly neighbors just across the way. The nearby towns had all the amenities one would need, including a fun splash park. Overall it was great, I highly recommend this place for any amount of stay. Connie was delightful to communicate with and was very prompt at any questions we had. We would stay again in a heart beat! This is a true down to earth country experience that many could use during these chaotic times. Thank you.
We went up to South Dakota for a fishing tournament. I have to say this was the perfect house for our needs. You get the farm house feel and comfort a house should give you. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay, hunt or fish. The bigger lakes are all within 45mins.
House was a great hunting lodge for our guys snow goose trip. Check in process was easy. House location was ideal and located close to the areas we hunted.
The house worked out great for a group of nine hunters. Plenty of room for gear and enough table to eat and play cards. Would recommend for hunters or fishermen.
We enjoyed our stay and Connie was very easy to work with. She was prompt and asked any questions I had in a timely manner. The house was clean and had all the required supplies for someone traveling out of town. We will be staying again. Thank you
We were traveling to meet family. This was perfect, lots of yard for my child to run, plenty of room for parents/grandparents. The home had everything we needed.
My three sons and I had a very nice stay at this clean, welcoming and comfortable country home. 4 bedrooms with all the comforts of home. If I travel that way again I will definitely try to stay here. G Englin from Iowa.

What makes this property unique
You have close access to several public hunting areas as well as several good fishing lakes, Lake Thompson and Indian Springs. If you enjoy ice fishing or open water fishing, there is good fishing through out the entire year.
