The house was clean and well stocked. The back yard and hot tub area is beautiful and very well cared for, including the grill which worked perfectly. Great place to stay with lots of room.
Great space for a wedding weekend. Kitchen has more than you can imagine with all the gizmos. We had a wonderful experience and we all enjoyed the home during this special occasion.
This was the most Amazing VRBO. It was for my son’s wedding. We live 15 hours away in Michigan. Our host, Jennifer, made sure we had absolutely everything we needed! An abundance of towels , extra linens, 3 different coffee makers , stocked with coffee , a karaoke machine, 2 fire pits, a hot tub , and the most beautiful property , and home and porch with comfortable furniture! If anyone is wondering about this property, wonder no more . You will not be disappointed!!! We will return.
Everything about the house and the location was accurate. We had one issue that was quickly resolved which made our stay even more rewarding. Jennifer is an excellent owner which makes us want to come back again.
We loved the house and location! The property was gorgeous! Our kids enjoyed the hot tub, picking raspberries and spotting frogs in the pond. Jennifer was very responsive and helpful when we had questions.
I stayed here for 2 nights with 8 other girls. The house is beautiful and the hottub is an added bonus. There was unopened soap in each bathroom and plenty of towels for us all. The only thing is that on the site the rooms show as twin beds in one and they were all queen in the 2nd floor and one king on the 3rd. The smoke detector in one of the rooms had no batteries and went off but Jennifer was fast at getting back to me. Overall it was a lovely stay.
We recently had our wedding here and hosted our guests from out of town. Jennifer was nothing short of amazing to work with from start to finish. She was very accomodating and always seemed to be going the extra mile for us. The house, the property, everything from inside and out was immaculate. We couldn't have asked for a better location, experience, and host. We look forward to coming back again!
A great property with plenty of space to be with others as well as to be by yourself. Great communication with owner. A very well stocked home that we would stay in again. My one comment would be - no safety bars in bathrooms and showers and tub were a little slippery. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Our family came to Maine to visit our son who is on the USS Inouye being built in Bath, ME at BIW. We had a great visit! The house was large and had enough for everyone to have a bed to themselves and even a place to get away from the large group if they wished. We cooked large meals together, played games at the dining room table, fished a little on the pond and sat on the front porch. We never built a fire...it kept raining!
I would recommend this property but especially the host who was kind, responsive, answered questions when we needed help and fulfilled a request for us as a favor. So kind!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It has all the comforts of home. The beds all have cushioned mattress toppers which are very comfortable. The bedrooms all have working air conditioners. The house is clean with plenty of room for a large group. When in Maine, we travel north to Acadia and south to Ogunquit. The property is centrally located and the perfect place to stay to see all of Maine in one visit. We will definitely stay at this house again and recommend it to others.
We got married at the property, Jennifer and Troy were amazing to work with! Amazing location for a mini wedding, quiet and relaxing environment. Clean, well maintained property. Would definitely recommend a stay here to family and friends!!
The house is roomy and immaculate, and the property is beautiful! Jennifer was very responsive and pleasant. We and our dogs very much enjoyed our stay in Wiscasset!
We had a great time in Maine. Perfect place to stay at, the house is well located and from there you get to go to different villages and beaches. Property owner was easy to get ahold of and helpful for places to go and see.
We've been vacationing in this area for about 10 years altogether, and found this home to be a great base camp for many of our favorite places. The house is big, the yard is perfect and well maintained, and our group of 6 adults and 7 kids (5 months-10) all had a blast.
From the house we were a reasonable drive to Boothbay, Pemaquid, Reid State Park (and 5 Islands), Popham Beach, and Bath. We also took the kids to the ropes & zipline course in town, Monkey C Monkey Do. The home's central location in Wiscassett was a great place to start from. Everything in this area can be a little bit of a drive, but they are all well worth the trip, with great scenery along the way.
The house was very clean on arrival, Jen was great with communication and flexibility. The kids loved riding bikes up and down the driveway of the dead-end street. The adults loved the outdoor firepit, back deck with pergola, and the chairs on the front porch I could have slept in. There's even a hummingbird feeder - great to watch with a coffee on the porch.
We plan to be back - thanks!
Vielen Dank Jennifer

Perfect Maine Vacation Stay
This property was absolutely perfect for our stay in Maine. 4 Adults and 4 children stayed very comfortably. A very private setting with a beautiful pond. Sitting on the covered front porch every morning having coffee was so relaxing. At night we enjoyed the fire pit after BBQ'ing. The house itself is very well maintained and stocked with everything you could want. Jennifer, the owner was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. The day we arrived it was 99 degrees with 100% humidity. We went to the local hardware store and bought a couple extra box fans and Jennifer refunded our money immediately.
The location is ideal for seeing all that Maine has to offer. You can hop on route 1 and be in Bar Harbor/Acadia or head south to Portland in no time at all. Also you are very close to Augusta/Hallowell. Although Wiscasset is usually not considered a "destination town" when you think of a Maine Vacation it is really worth considering if you want to see a lot of the Maine coastline. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come to Maine.
Thanks Jennifer!
