Our cozy apartment with a fenced doggie area is located near University of Texas in a lively eclectic neighborhood with many excellent restaurants,coffee houses, bars,entertainment, grocery & liquor store only within blocks. Perfect launching pad for your Austin adventure! Few min walk to famous 6th St. and West Lynn. Near ACL, SXSW etc.
You’ll love the neighborhood! Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). A taste of urban living in a quiet and safe area.
One bedroom with 2 Queen beds and 1 twin bed in living room and 1 futon. One bathroom with towels. Cozy living room with flat screen TV, CABLE TV and free high speed internet. Very close to downtown, cute place. We chose to stay outside of downtown to save on the cost and complications of parking. Perfect for me and a friend for a quick 24 hours in Austin. Pictures are accurate and host was perfect.

Really good location

3 friends and I stayed for a long weekend. Only 10-15 mins away from downtown. Appreciated parking availability and the porch. If you are planning on spending a lot of time at the apartment, there isn't a ton of seating - one of the beds is in the living room. But it was perfect for us as we spent a lot of time out and about.

Great Location for UT families

We were in Austin for parents’ weekend and the UT TCU game. My Longhorn daughter stayed with us and it was perfect for our family of 4. I contacted the owner at the last minute bc my daughter needed to bring her dog and she was very responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect!

Good stay for ACL

Looked like the photos and was a nice stay overall for our ACL visit. Could not locate the washer and dryer. I guess they are outside? I’m sure they would have explained had we bothered to ask. AC filters could be cleaned/replaced and the tv didn’t work. Everything else worked as expected. Good parking spaces, and located in a comfortable neighborhood, with an overall 10-15 minute drive to Zilker for ACL.

Hot bathroom

This unit was cute and decorated nicely. However I did not know it would be upstairs, but that wasn’t an issue. We could not get the tv to work properly for the Amazon/WiFi connection so for the one night we stayed in we only had local channels. The bathroom didn’t have a ventilation fan or central heating/cooling and it was hot when I visited so the bathroom stayed pretty warm.

Great location, decent property

The location was great for our weekend at ACL, it was a $7-$8 Lyft ride to Zilker, we took scooters one time and those were about a $10 ride each to the park. The property is a duplex with a courtyard for parking. We had our 3 kids and it felt safe, and I liked that my boys could play in the courtyard. The furnishings are pretty basic, mattresses on the floor, but they were really comfortable, there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and the window AC units blow really cold. We had the dishes and linens we needed. I'd say the living room wasn't very comfortable for hanging out, with two patio type chairs and uncomfortable leather futon, and I am so glad we only had 4 people, because the listing says it sleeps 6, but that lumpy leather futon is the 6th sleeping spot, and I wouldn't want to have to sleep on that. Over all it was easy to access, owner was prompt in response so to my message upon check in and we had what we needed. For the location I would consider staying again.

Good location, room to sleep 4 adults comfortably but some issues

When we booked, we did not know that we would be required to give a credit card for a large damage deposit or purchase insurance. I am used to damage deposits, but felt the amount they were asking for was excessive. I did not know this until I was about to confirm. I saw no need for insurance since I always leave a place neat, tidy and clean with no damage, but ended up paying the insurance because I did not want to give my credit card for the excessive damage deposit. When we arrived, it was very hot in Austin. The A/C was completely turned off and it was extremely hot in the unit. The bathroom was unbearable. We got there about 5pm and it took until midnight to cool off. The manager asked in the instructions that the AC be turned off if we were not there. We did put the A/C on 78 when we would leave, but did not follow directions and left it on. We asked for a fan for the bathroom, but the manager/owner said she did not have an extra one. The kitchen is poorly appointed. No spatulas or other cooking utensils to cook breakfast and only one drinking glass. (There were mugs for coffee/tea.)

Great Place for Short Stay

I stayed here for a weekend with a couple of friends and it was great! I wouldn't want to stay here long-term with a several people because there's only one bathroom, but for a weekend trip it was perfect. Good location, comfy beds, 2 parking spots included, and the apartment was nice and clean.

Photos not accurate

Photos attached to property I reserved were not accurate. Photos available were for a different unit which was currently occupied. I am not one for false advertising. Kitchen had very, very little equipment, for example 1 spatula, no mixing spoons, no mixing cups, no dish sponge etc. I found it interesting that there were baking sheets available with no oven. I would not qualify that this was a full kitchen. Parking was difficult however, was in a good neighborhood and close to downtown. If you are looking for a weekend rental with more included in the kitchen, and more accurate photos then this is not the property. It is all what you want from it. Otherwise, it was okay and it served a partial purpose of what I thought I was getting when I rented. Pay attention to any e-mails regarding extra charges for early check in and check out.
