Like a brand new home! Completely redone and very stylish and luxurious. Plenty of space and well equipped. Easy communication action with the property manager. Just 4 min walk to the beach. Restaurants and shops within a short walk. Enjoyed the week very much - and will be back!

Great Property

We stayed 2 weeks with friends. The house was roomy and the two king beds were perfect for two couples. The neighborhood was quiet, and there was a fenced yard for our dog. The beach was a short walk and there is a park two blocks down the beach with public restrooms.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! From outside to inside - everything we needed and more! Loved the cozy feel but plenty of room to spread out! The fenced yard was perfect for our pup to run and play! Just a short walk to the beach for hunts in the morning and sunsets in tevening!

Almost everything about this place was outstanding! House was terrific, roomy, spacious, fit our family of 8 perfectly. The location was also great, a super short walk to the beach, but not on the main drag so it was quiet, easy to find/access. Only downfall was the place wasn't fully clean when we showed up. The bedsheets and floors were not clean. Contacted the owner and they responded immediately and sent a cleaning crew, but they did not clean the room that we had said needed (only the master bedroom, other rooms were good). Other than that, everything else was wonderful, would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This is our second time staying at Stephy’s Place. We absolutely love this house! My only recommendation is for the bed spreads need to be washed after each rental. Ours in the master bedroom appeared to have chocolate or poop on it. We will be back!

Beautiful Stephy's Place

The property was laid out great for our family. We enjoyed ourselves. Everyone had privacy and the gathering rooms were large enough for the seven of us. Two suggestions...1. Label light switches (there were too many to find) and 2. Reorganize kitchen cabinets so guests have cupboard space for food and snacks. (Nobody needs 30 coffee mugs.) Wonderful home away from home.

What a gem!

It was the perfect spot for our family. We loved being able to walk to the beach or restaurants. Idalia shortened our stay but loved there were locals around us who could give us advice on how to react. The grill wasn't heating up and the outdoor shower needed some finessing to cool down the water temp and with that, would definitely stay there again!

Family Vacation Success

Our stay was wonderful, we stayed here last year and came back! This area is very nice the house layout works so well fo4 us and our two teens. This year we had a friend join us also! The house was clean and spacious. We had a great time.

Great Location :)

Overall great stay. However, the master bed frame was incredibly cheap and partially broken upon arrival. It completely broke on our second night (when we found that it wasn't put together with enough hardware) and we slept the remainder of the nights with the mattress on the floor (it didn't have a box spring). The other king bed (not master bed) had a great box spring and frame... but not the master. Additionally, I felt like we spent a lot of time taking other occupants trash/recycling to the curb... we didn't even use the recycling bin (but found out after the fact that it was full and we were supposed to take it to the curb).... that was difficult to digest. But it was still a great stay.

It accommodated our needs well. It was myself, husband and in-laws. The only thing that would have made it better, for us at least, would be if the bedroom near the garage had a full/queen bed to offer a little separation.

A Misleading Listing with Poor Management

I would never stay here again. The location is amazing, but aside from the one-block walk to the ocean, there is very little to recommend about this place. Upon arriving, we found the house unclean. There was food on the floors and counters, the beds were made with dirty sheets, and the towels in the cabinets were still damp. Immediately I contacted the number that was provided (on an envelope to include a tip for the housecleaner, which I found bold considering the state of the house), and she immediately sent a clean-up crew while we went to dinner. We returned to the house and found that the clean-up crew did minimal secondary cleaning. The bedsheets were still not changed, and the floors still had crumbs on them. I contacted the number provided again, and someone came to the house immediately. I showed her that the bottoms of my feet were black from walking on the floor. I showed her hairs on the pillowcases. I pulled a half-eaten cookie from under the coffee table. There was a pair of women’s underwear on the floor in one bedroom. She acknowledged that the state of the house was poor, and we arranged for her to come in the morning. In the morning a crew arrived who scrubbed the whole house, leaving it in spotless condition. I appreciated the hard work that Brandy and her team did to rectify the shortcomings. One morning, a neighbor asked us to double-check that we had our doors locked, as people often roam the neighborhood looking for easy targets. Sure enough, during the week I was woken in the night by a noise outside. In the morning there were fresh cigarette butts at the front door from an unwelcome visitor. This was especially alarming as the gate to the backyard didn’t lock, and the sliding glass door’s lock was broken, so was secured with a wooden bar. There are holes in the drywall. The backyard had trash in it. The coffee table has a broken glass pane with loose shards. The invitation to the house says “Feel free to use our beach towels”; the house has no beach towels. “Feel free to use the grill”; the grill was so rusted it was inoperable. "Use our beach equipment"; the chairs were so rusted they stained my swimsuit. There were no kitchen towels left for us, so we sacrificed a hand towel from a bathroom for the week. If you are coming to Indian Rocks Beach for spring break, and don’t care if your rental is clean and accurately described, stay here. If, however, you’re planning a family vacation, save your money.

We had a great time during our stay at this close to the beach house. Great location for everyone's interests either being sunset walks on the beach, local restaurants or taking in a spring training game. The house was spacious and had the Florida charm. We would stay again.

Sister time

Property was nice. Close walk to the beach. We had to boil water to do dishes. We took cold showers for 3 days NO HOT WATER! The front door would not lock when we left the house. The coffee pot was filthy the floors left your feet dirty but the towels were clean.
