This 91-year-old historical cabin sits amongst the stately California pine trees, just down the road from the gorgeous Bear Mountain Ski Resort and Bear Mountain Golf Course, both a short 5-minute walk away.
For the outdoor lovers in your group, plenty of hiking trails await nearby for an exciting daytime adventure in nature. Back home, take your morning coffee out on the front porch where you’ll find a relaxing scene with wood rocking chairs and a bench. A spacious backyard is an ideal place for entertaining, enjoying outdoor meals, or simply soaking up the sun and fresh air. No matter the season, you will be surrounded by exhilarating attractions and picturesque views at Whispering Pines.
The inside of the home is just as impressive with wood features and accents throughout, immersing you in a rich cabin atmosphere. The open floor plan organically blends spaces together while remaining separate enough for everyone to spread out and find their own personal spot. A comfortable living room offers a leather sofa and armchair seating along with a wood rocking chair. A mounted smart TV provides an additional form of entertainment during needed downtime after a day filled with local activities. The focal point of the space, however, is the stunning gas fireplace. Gather around the fire for a cozy movie night.
Steps away, a high-top dining table offers enough seating for all, able to accommodate any type of meal or even a friendly game night. The charming kitchen with standard appliances, drip coffee maker, toaster, and cookware provides everything needed for home cooked meals or for enjoying takeout from a local restaurant.
This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests between 2 private bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed and smart TV.
Bedroom #2 includes 1 queen and 1 twin size bed in a bunk format, as well as a TV.
The bedrooms share a jack and jill bathroom with a beautiful pedestal sink and glass walk-in shower.

- You must be 21 or older to reserve this property. Individuals under the age of 21 who book this home may have their reservations canceled or interrupted without the option of a refund.
- To ensure compliance with local city and county regulations, every individual, regardless of age (including infants and children), is included in the total occupancy count. Reservations exceeding the maximum allowed occupancy for this property cannot be accepted.
- Pet friendly! Additional fee of $35 per night, per dog. - Maximum of 2 dogs allowed. Dogs must not be left alone and need to be cleaned up after at all times. If outside the home, dogs must be on a leash.
- Washer and dryer in home.
- Driveway parking is available for up to 2 vehicles. Parking on the street is not allowed, you may receive a $500 citation or get towed.
- 2 cameras – one on the front porch and one in the back yard.
- This is a one-story home with no stairs required.

For stays of 28 days or more a mid-stay clean is mandatory and the fee is $85.

The City of Big Bear Lake requires in-person check-in with a valid ID and agreement of the Good Neighbor Policy from the person who made the reservation. This is not optional, and you can incur a minimum $500 fine from the City of Big Bear Lake if you ignore this step. Thank you for keeping us compliant.
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.
Please note that this home can accommodate up to 2 Dogs, with an additional Pet Fee of $35 per pet/per day. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing Dogs, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee.
