Chestnut Cabin is one of only 3 cabins onsite, with plenty of space to accommodate up to 16 people. (The base rate covers up to 10 guests. Each additional guest is $25/night.) We accommodate many wedding party guests, youth groups and family reunions. We allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs, but ask that they not be allowed on the furniture or beds.

EVENTS: Our insurance does not cover events held at the cabins, nor is our parking
usually adequate for parties including folks who are not Cedar Creek guests. Therefore,

that includes significant numbers of people who are not cabin guests, are not permitted.
We can suggest local restaurants, event centers, and parks that may be able to help with these needs.

Beautiful Property in Great Location!

We came to Weaverville for a family wedding, and were lucky to stay at this property! It is centrally located in town, and both the road and driveway were easy to navigate (not always the case with mountain cabins!) The cabin itself is generously sized and very clean. There is a front porch that is perfect for a quiet coffee or crossword puzzle.. We didn’t need to interact with the owners much, but when we did, they were kind and very responsive. This was probably my favorite short term rental ever. We highly recommend it!

Great country home for a large group

The property had excellent cabin vibes, comfortable beds, lots of seating and a well stocked kitchen for cooking for a large group. Plenty of parking in a private and quiet neighborhood. Easdrive to Asheville.

Perfect Mountain Cabin

We rented Chestnut and the two neighboring cabins for our wedding weekend. The properties were beautiful and the cabin was spacious. It was great being able to be so close to our friends and family!

Great homey cabin

Great larger home perfect for large family!

Perfect for what we needed

My company is Walker Woodworking in Shelby, NC. We were installing cabinetry in a large residence in the area and instead of driving back and forth each day, I utilized this property. My guys, very professional guys, really enjoyed staying there instead of hotel rooms. They were able to grill out in the evening, and enjoyed sitting on the porch.

Fantastic property in a wonderful setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well-equipped and the size was perfect for our group of 8. We wanted to be near Asheville and were so glad we picked charming Weaverville. It was very quick and easy to get to places we wanted to go in and around Asheville and we loved coming back to the quiet tree-lined neighborhood. We loved everything about the house and location and will recommend it to friends and family.

Family holiday

Everything went really with our rental and our family gathering! It was just right for our group. We had 14 people and there was plenty of room for all our activities including making our huge holiday meal! Roger and Micki are great and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend Chestnut Lodge!

Great for large family getaway

This cabin was tucked into the woods on a steep hill, giving us the feel of a secluded mountain getaway. But just a short 5 minute walk and we were in the cute downtown Weaverville, where there are several coffee shops and restaurants. Just a 20 minute drive from Asheville. The house was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for our large family. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal Space, Walkable yet Secluded, Great for Friend Groups

This place could not have been more perfect for our group. We were in town for my partner’s 30th birthday with friends and we really enjoyed how the group could spread out in the space (9 total). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals. The porch was awesome. I was delightfully surprised at the entertainment options in Weaverville that we could walk to in 10 mins. When we went into downtown Asheville, Ubers were easy to call- they take 15-20 mins to arrive, which was totally fine, we just built that into our plans! The space truly made the trip for our group, and it was everything described in the listing/pictures and more. The host was very responsive to small questions we had during our stay as well. I’d go back to NC just to stay at this house.

Perfect long weekend

My family and friends wanted to go snow tubing. This property was the only one we could find just a few weeks ahead of our stay. IT WAS PERFECT. It had a very clean/neutral smell, which is very important to me! The whole house was neat and clean. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom lay out worked great for the children to all sleep downstairs and all the adults upstairs. It was very close to local restaurants (be sure to try the Twisted Laurel). I would 100% stay here again.
