Family room to relax in over looking open concept kitchen. kitchen has separate eating area with sliding doors to outside heated pool area. kitchen is fully equipped with all upgrade appliances, including fridge, stove,
dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster,lot of dish,pots and pans and utensils. family room has tv with full cable package. eating area has sliding doors that bring you to our private pool area with it own tv and eating area. floor plan with 2 private bedrooms with it own bathroom that has door to pool area. laundry room includes washer and dryer.

House is a work in progress. Shower in ensuite had just been done but not the necessary redecoration. We had issues with the lack of cleaning in the kitchen (elsewhere okay). Resolved by manager once pointed out. Beds okay but springs very squeaky so hubby and I used two rooms. Broken glass shelf in hallway is dangerous, pointed out but not removed. It was too cold to use the pool so cannot comment but deck area good and very sheltered. Interior is very dark, perhaps a good thing in very hot weather but a bit depressing in January. Big TV has been installed (different from the pic when we booked) and very good wifi. Close to shops and restaurants etc.

Great location. Not “touristy”. Close to everything you need and about a 1 hour and 45 minute to Disney. Would 100% rent again.

Awful very NASTY HOUSE!!

This house was disgusting!! Hole in the floor that the host put tape on, mold on shower curtain, shower wall broken, dressers disgusting, tv didn’t work. We had to leave this property after being there a couple days because it was that disgusting and couldn’t take a shower there. When I reached out to the host to tell him that we were leaving early because the house was nasty and asked for some reimbursement he said thats not my problem that you left early. He said seems you just want money back! Ummm no the house is GROSS!!! We were only staying there because we were having work done at our house. We rented another house the week before this one and it was beautiful but not available for another week. I told the host that I was going to put a bad review and he stated that he would respond that I was lying and just wanted money back.I also put in a complaint to VRBO and they tried to reach out to the host and no response. BE AWARE AND DON’T RENT THIS HOUSE AND IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! I also have pictures of this NASTY HOUSE and screenshots of my conversations with the host.

Enjoyable stay

Showed up and the whole house had been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. Loved the property especially the pool would definitely stay at this house again, the whole family loved it and had a blast even in the middle of hurricane Debby.

Almost Perfect

House and area was good, house was clean and well kept, and only had two issues for our two week stay. Like the other VRBO rentals we had in the past, the 'beds' thus the 'mattresses' were cheap and non-supportive. They were below standard 'spring' type which left all of us with sore backs and bodies and restless nights sleep. They need to be replaced with good 'firm' mattresses. The loss of sleep for the 2 week stay is why I gave it a lessor rating, that and the grille which wasn't cleaned for quite some time. The mattresses in these VRBO rentals are why we won't use this service again. Other than this is really was a good place to stay. Dave, NJ / 7-24

GEM in Spring Hill

This is a GREAT house to rent in the town to Spring Hill. House comes with a pool and is near to many restaurants, shipping center, etc. Host is wonderful, very attentive. Will highly recommend this rental to all my friends and family when visiting Spring Hill.

Hassle-Free Stay

This home and owner where perfect for us. The owner meets you personally to ensure your questions are answered and you have what you need. For us, he replaced the propane for the grill and, a TV that went on the fritz. We had plenty of space, seating and kitchen supplies and, the neighborhood was quiet most evenings. Check in and out was a breeze and, we were most thankful for that. Thanks, again, Richie, for letting us stay in your home!

Great place to vacation

Property was very clean and quiet. Had a problem with the pool pump not working. Ritchie replaced it it two days. No complaints and have already booked for next year.

Family vacation during the 4th

We stayed for an entire week. Place was clean, everything as described. The owner was more than helpful, extremely quick to respomd when i needed anything. Pool was lovely, beds were very soft and comfy. When i originally read reviews i was leery because 2 of the prior reviews werent real great but we had no problems w any types of pest of any kind during our stay and i would absolutely recommend this place for family stays as he was a very nice and very helpful gentlemen to deal with and the home was perfect for our needs.

Unmeet Expectations

When I arrived the home was dirty. The bathroom had rings of dirty to include the tub and toilet. In addition to a dirty shower curtain, rubber tub mat and bathroom floor mats. The kitchen oven and refrigerator were dirty, along with cockroaches. The sheets on the beds were clean, but had a funny odor and I realized it was coming from the filthy mattress cover. Before I could use the dryer, I had to remove towels from it. The door from the garage entering the home was broken, along with the lock to the sliding glass door to the master bedroom. I left the property in better condition then I received it. In my opinion. I should have been refunded some money due to cleaning process and putting up with cockroaches during my stay. If the owner hires a new cleaning company, fixes the locks and pays an exterminator this would be an excellent property to rent. I meet with Richie, the owner on the property, pointed out the aforementioned discrepancies and he said was full of excuses. Hopefully he will address these problems so future renters don’t have to deal with them.

Cockroaches

After driving 20+ hours to the house we were advised that the owner wanted to meet us. As 2 women, we found this very unsettling in todays society. The owner said he wanted to go over the house, but the information he gave us (Wi-Fi name/password, trash days, no metal in pool) could have all been on a 1 sheeter placed in the kitchen. We are very fortunate that we have family in the area so we asked my cousin and her husband to meet us there for safety. One other thing he decided to tell us is that a previous renter brought in cockroaches. He has been spraying, but no one since has seen them. Fast forward to a few days later and we found one in the master bathroom. We texted immediately and the owner said he would be at the house the next day to spray in the afternoon. We left the house around noon to hang out with family and told him we were out of the house. Around 4pm we texted to check in because we wanted to relax before dinner plans. He said he was on his way there now and we would have to wait 2 hours before we could enter the house. So we had to drive around for a few hours to waste time before our dinner plans. With the gas prices these days, that was not a pleasurable experience. We decided to leave a day earlier and eat the money because we wanted to get out of the house. While packing up we found another cockroach in the kitchen. We were waiting for the towels to finish washing to leave. It was the longest spin cycle in all the years I was doing laundry. After texting him we were leaving early and we found another cockroach all we got was a simple “ok, thank you”. I really wish the owner would have given us a heads up about the cockroaches the moment he found out because we would have asked for a full refund and looked somewhere else. Instead, he tells us after driving 20+ hours with our hands tied since we were too exhausted and had nowhere else to go. I have never in my 37 years of existence had a cockroach. I am now afraid to open my suitcase in my house with a fear that I brought some home and now let them into my house. This is highly unprofessional to blindside someone at the last minute with this massive bomb with nowhere else to go. If it wasn’t for the cockroaches, being blindsided by the cockroach information with no compassion or empathy and the sketchy factor of wanting to meet us I might have rented this house again.

Property was very dirty. The grill was so dirty and moldy that it was not useable. Owner met us on arrival and told us if we saw any critters just let him know. Saw coach roaches in kitchen every day even though he said he came back to the house to spray while we were out. The sheets were very thin and had pilling on them. Would not rent this home again
