Great Location - a few things to know
Amazing location. Generally well cleaned. Good communication from the owner/manager - friendly and responsive. I'll say it again - amazing location.Some things you may want to know:1) This is a basement unit and the second bedroom is next to the boiler room for the entire building - goes off regularly to heat water that heats the building. 2) The heat givne off by the boiler actually heats the place and you are to set you max temp on cooling so that the cooling unit will keep you from being too hot - even when it is below 32 F outside.3) Hmmm - we had small mice visitors each night and during the day while out - they don't each much but do leave little mouse pops where they hang out. Troubling for sure. THe owner manager suggested I go tot he lcoal hardware store and get some sticky papers to catch them. I wasn't that ambitious. 4) THe bathroom is near the upstairs bedroom (no door for the bedrrom) and the others in the place have to walk past the bed to get to the bathroom. Not really set up for any bathroom use while anyone is sleeping on the upstairs bed.5) Kitchen works fine - all appliances worked as needed.So ... I think this place has potnetial. However, the boiler issue needs to be stated in the advert so people knwo what they are reserving. I am hoping they can address the mouse issue soon as well.
