Heaven sent

Was greeted when we arrived, and was blessed to make their acquaintance. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and to make us feel special for our wedding day! First impression--very homey and welcoming. The property was clean and well organized and decorated; in fact, it was cozy and comfy! No complaints or issues to speak of. I have limited mobility, so sometimes bathtub showers cause me problems when I can't lift my feet over the side of the tub. I didn't have that problem this week, but, if I may suggest, it might be a good idea to install hand rails for older guests who need something to hold onto while getting in and out of the shower. All told, though, we enjoyed our visit immensely--it was just too short! Thank you, Judith, for a safe and comfortable haven.

Perfect place for a Hamilton visit!

Little Guest House in the Country

This guest house was in a good location, felt safe for traveling women. The home was well appointed and very clean! The owners are extremely accommodating and very nice. If we had needed anything they would have provided it for us. Would recommend staying here. You would not be sorry.

This property is one one the best I have ever stayed in my over 15 years of Using these types of properties. Check in was perfect and the property was perfection ! I would love other hosts learn from this one ! Attention to details in every way was a 12 of 10 !!!! Met the host after first night stay as she was checking on us to see if we were happy and I must say it was and she was great ! If you ever need a place in a off the road area that is 12 of 10 and such a comfortable property in all ways book this ! We will be back !

Just an oversight stay

This property was impressive. Very nice. We just stayed one night. Basically just needed a place to sleep but wow. I'd definitely stay again over any hotel. Judy was very good with communication. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway

The pictures online don’t do this guesthouse justice. It is spotlessly clean, charmingly decorated and met our every need. Even had Netflix and Amazon Prime so we could binge on Christmas movies. I highly recommend it.

The perfect anniversary getaway!!

Jack and Judy's property was perfect for our anniversary getaway! We've stayed in many VRBO homes, and this was by far the cleanest and most comfortable. The property had all the perfect touches, including a stoked fire pit, a porch swing with beautiful sunrise/sunset views, endless miles of quiet back roads for a walk, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Communication with Judy was excellent; we will certainly be staying here again!

Watch for the dogs on the drive in

Loved the property, the only bad thing was the dogs that follwed our car when we drove in. They were someone elses dog but gps took us down the little alley where the little dogs were. It was very worriesome as we didnt want to hit or run them over.

My husband Jack and I live in a very small rural community in Missouri. We love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of small town living. We love to trout fish, garden, travel and being with family.

Why they chose this property

We built this property in 2014 with the intention of using it for storage and also a workshop. Our plans gradually changed and we decided to convert the property into a guest house for travelers. We love to meet people and our decision has been perfect.

What makes this property unique

Our guest house is quiet, peaceful and well furnished. Our kitchen is fully equipped for the person that would like to cook during their stay. A garage is available for a car or truck, even a small RV. We are close to Missouri Star Quit and also to the Amish community of Jamesport, Mo.
