The Space:
Murden Cove is a newly listed private home located waterfront on Bainbridge Island. You have your own private beach located just steps from the house. You will experience many different settings during your stay as high tide and low tide have a huge impact on what you are seeing and the wildlife that comes. Wait until low tide and you can walk for miles on the sand bar and beach. We offer two kayaks for your pleasure to take out on the Puget as well as some nearby streams.

Calling all BIRDERS! This location is a special treat that offers vibrant birdlife right outside the back door. Kitsap county, in particular, is a birdwatcher's paradise with the likes of bald eagles, Anna's hummingbird, dark-eyed junco, great blue heron and much more whizzing right by the bluffs of the Puget Sound. Grab some binoculars and don't miss your chance to witness this thrilling sight!

Inside you'll find three (3) three bedrooms and two (2) bathrooms. The home has retained many of the original features with focus on the sites of the beautiful Puget Sound. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that share a private bathroom that has a toilet, vanity and bathtub only.

Downstairs there is the third bedroom that has direct access to the bathroom on the first floor with vanity, toilet, bathtub and shower. The living room, kitchen and dining room for 4 are also located on the first floor with the deck entrance coming from the dining room or living room.

Outside you have tons of privacy and green space for the whole family. We offer kayaks, games and seating for your enjoyment! In the front yard you will find our bunk house that has two extra twin beds for the kids over any overflow sleeping. Please note that the cottage/bunk house does not have heating facilities, and the use of space heaters is not permitted.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the living areas of the house.

The Neighborhood:
Located in Murden Cove this is a wild and sea life haven! You are less than 10 minutes to the Bainbridge Ferry and the quant village.

Getting Around:
There are a few ways of getting to the house but the most common will be the ferry by taking your vehicle or by passenger. Taking your vehicle will be the easiest way getting to the house. If not, there are sometimes one or two Uber's giving rides or there are a couple (older) taxi companies.

A Sound View of the Sound!

This quaint home with the Puget Sound lapping at its private garden is the perfect place to get away from it all. The views from the dining room, living room and one of the bedrooms is so spectacular, with Seattle sparking in the distance and the glowing homes of Murden Cove reflecting on the water. The fireplace, the center of the house, works well and makes the house so cozy. It was hard to have to leave. Chad, the manager, was so thoughtful and helpful, and oh my, the handmade sourdough loaf waiting for me on the counter. Too good!
