About the host
Hosted by Terry Johnson

Hi, I am an interior designer. I love creating warm and inviting spaces. I have designed many homes for myself and for others.
Why they chose this property
The Mesa is a residential hideaway tucked at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains, The Mesa features an eclectic mix of homes from Spanish Colonial to butterfly-style buildings designed by midcentury-modern architect Donald Wexler. The area also contains the Moorten Botanical Garden, a quirky desert nursery filled with cacti, and is a gateway to a network of wilderness hiking trails in the mountains.
What makes this property unique
It is one of those very special properties in this hidden slice of paradise. Snuggled into the hillside on the lowest slopes of the San Jacinto Mts beneath Tahquitz Peak, this Spanish Territorial exudes charm and character and offers mesmerizing valley views. Custom features include french doors, heavy split-wood beam ceilings, pecky cypress cabinetry and wall panels, two fireplaces and authentic doors from Mexico. A pool and spa is surrounded by an expansive deck for entertaining and enjoying the spectacular and ever-changing valley views. Here is your chance to own a custom, one-of-a-kind property in the exclusive upper Mesa
