Amazing Lake Superior view from Ridge Road w/2 car heated garage

What a view! Nestled high on the ridge, in Grand Marais, overlooking Lake Superior, this completely remodeled house has real hickory hardwood floors throughout. It has a new cabin feel, all shiplap & tongue and groove walls and ceiling. All new high-end, stainless-steel appliances (refrigerator, stove and washer/dryer), quartz counter tops, hammered cooper kitchen sink, and leather furniture, including a pull-out sofa (queen). Bathroom as tub/shower.
We offer a selection of K cups for the Keurig or if you enjoy drip coffee we do have a regular coffee maker as well. There are three smart TVs, total with amazon/netflix available. One TV in the King bedroom, one in the main living room and one in the kids living area (that has the pull-out sofa). For as beautiful as this house is inside, the outdoor space is more amazing, new wrap around deck will be available Summer 2025. The kitchen, living room and queen bedroom has an amazing view of Lake Superior. Sit on the porch swing and sip coffee or wine all day looking at the beautiful blue hues of the water. Play corn-hole (game provided to use) in the side yard or bring your own outdoor games for the whole family. Plenty of parking room for trucks & trailers. The heated garage has an additional refrigerator and outdoor grill for guest use. Toward the back of the house enjoy a private area for your campfire. There are 3 heat sources for this house. One is 100% off-grid meaning it will work if the case of a power outage.
Main source of heat for house is forced air propane. There is a pellet stove both inside the house (optional for you to use) and in the garage as the main source of heat for the garage. We recommend you bring bags of pellets and if you need additional, they can be available for $8/bag.

This is a pet friendly property. Please note there is a pet fee of $100.00 therefore you must disclose you are bringing a pet. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and must be in a crate if ever left unattended.

Grand Marais - Snowmobile Trip

This was our second time to stay at this location. Great for snowmobiling and ATV trips. Definitely will be stating again.

We love Grand Marais!

The view from the big kitchen window is stunning. You can see the lake, the waves crashing and the spray. So cozy, all pine, comfortable furniture, great beds. We have been to Grand Marais many times, Summer and Winter. Always beautiful, always welcoming.

Snowmobiling trip in the UP! :)

Perfect location in Grand Marais not far from the trails. All the amenities you would ever need. Plenty of space for truck and trailer and heated garage to work in in needed. Owners were awesome and super friendly. I will be staying here again in the future for sure!

A Cozy Winter Retreat

This cozy cabin is the perfect amount of rustic mixed with all of the essentials you could need! For our annual snowmobile trip, we prefer to be close to the trails and close to a gas station so this place was great. And, to have a heated garage for parking is just the cherry on top! The knotty pine and pellet stove make this the coziest spot to warm up after a day of riding or ice fishing! The owners here have everything covered and were so pleasant and responsive to communicate with. We'd absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

Grand Marais Vacation

Beautiful property for our hikes around pictured rocks. Molly was so helpful and the property was perfect. Downtown grand Marais was very pretty with 2 great places to have a beverage and eat right on Lake Superior. Coukd not have asked for more. Definitely plan to return!!

Cabin has everything you could want for being up north. The owners are very nice and welcoming people willing to lend a hand if needed. Location is perfect distance from town and in the wilderness. Highly recommend!

The home is beautifully remodeled. The beds are super comfy. The location is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from downtown Grand Marais. The hosts were very hospitable. Great long weekend!

Comfortable and scenic. Wonderful cabin with great comfort. Wifi, games, beautiful view. And if you venture outside at night a special serenade of frogs. Definitely would stay here again.

Wonderful visit

The property has a beautiful view down the hillside to Lake Superior. The owners were able to give us a scheduled at the last minute Yooperlite tour which will likely be the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Cabin & Wonderful Owners!

The cabin was lovely! Everything was clean and looked new. Beds were very comfortable. The view out the kitchen window was beautiful! Molly and Chet were wonderful. Molly's communication before and during our stay was excellent! She made suggestions regarding local things to do - all you have to do it let her know what you are interested in and ask her where to go do to it - sight seeing, tours, rentals! Highly recommend booking a Yooperlite tour/hunt with Molly & Chet while you are there - it was one of the highlights of our trip!

Gem of Grand Marais

First of all, the hosts, Chet & Molly were fantastic....great communication and helpful with our sightseeing! The cabin is adorable with all the amenities one would need. It is a couple blocks off the main drag, so we loved the peace and quiet. Enjoyed having my morning coffee on the wooden swing looking out at Lake Superior, was quite the view!
