More of a "rustic retreat"
The home should be marketed as a "rustic retreat" so guests have a little more preparation for what they are walking into.The Pros-Location was incredible - not having to fight the downtown Sedona traffic was a nice plus and the proximity to great hiking trails was incredible. Just a short walk to the Airport Loop trail was a HUGE plus for this house! -And the view was absolutely stunning - could not ask for a better sunset from this home. -Also a huge plus is that the property manager is communicative, accommodating, and helpful when things come up with the home.The ConsUnfortunately, we would not probably not stay here again. We were far from expecting luxury for the price, but I am doubtful the home has been truly cleaned in years. -Bathroom: There were cobwebs and dead bugs in the bathrooms, hair in the bathtubs, not enough towels for the number of people in our party (6), and the towels that were provided were musty and hard. The windows were filthy, the dishes that were in the cabinets still had food on them, ants were so prevalent that the home owner provided ant cleaner.Dated home for sure. But the lack of cleanliness was overwhelming. To their credit, when we brought these concerns up, they refunded the pet and cleaning fees.
