Telluride Riverfront House with Mountain Views

Located on the east end of Telluride, with the San Miguel River running through its backyard, this beautiful 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath house is located on the river walk hiking trail and less than a mile from the center of historic Telluride, a town known for its local charm, renowned shops and delicious restaurants.

This home's location and size is perfect for those wanting to participate in the numerous festivals Telluride has to offer. A quick walk or bike ride brings you straight into the center of Town Park where you have access to one of Colorado's most beautiful venues.

If it is skiing you are looking for, an 8th of a mile walk to the Galloping Goose Shuttle will provide free transportation or town parking options to the Gondola and up to Mountain Village.

We often recommend a Ski Valet service to come to the home to assist our guests with their Ski Rentals and fittings so the first day on the slopes can be as smooth as possible. Please be sure to ask our manager for their contact information.

The home's prime location is just the start as the house itself boasts unique decor in keeping with its mountain setting, while featuring all of the desired modern amenities and stunning views you expect from a beautiful upscale mountain home.

We do not allow events or large gatherings of any kind. Thank you for understanding that our plumbing and utilities are not built for such level of service.

Fantastic River Retreat!

Breathtaking mountain home

This is an unbelievable house that is beautifully maintained. The hosts are incredible people and I can't imagine a better location. Make this your place to stay while in Telluride, you will not regret it.

Wonderful family stay

We had a wonderful stay at this family home. It was spacious, while also being cozy and comfortable. The view of the falls was breathtaking. The communication was excellent with the caretakers. They were kind and helpful. The home was close to the town of Telluride, while also being private. Since it was the summer, it was convenient to be there. We took a gondola ride from town to explore mountain village. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Once In A Lifetime Stay!

The house, the host, the views, the location…you couldn’t ask for more! We were three families who traveled from all over to meet up for the week and were blown away by everything this home offered, and how beautiful and comfortable it was for both kids and adults. Perfect for entertaining, hopping to town, but also secluded enough to feel like we were in the Rockies. We were also impressed and how responsive the host was throughout the entire prep and stay. Couldn’t recommend more highly and can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Mountain Retreat

The home was perfect for a cool get away from the hot AZ desert. Quiet and private and yet still a short walk to town park and the heart of Telluride. Perfect!

Perfect Family House - Beautiful Views

We will rent this house again. The description is very accurate. Highly recommend. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. All of the furniture is comfortable. The bed linens were nice and the mattresses were very comfortable as were the pillows. The property has amazing views. The hot tub was well maintained. We are regular visitors to Telluride so being a little outside of town was not a problem since we had a car. In spring summer and fall you would not need a car since it would be an easy walk to town. The house manager was quick to answer all of our questions. Plus there were extra nice quality towels and extra condiments in the pantry so we didn’t have to buy some basics. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Incredible Winter Stay

My now wife and I decided on this house for our small wedding this past winter, going on faith the photographs, description, and house manager's comments were all accurate. Upon arrival, we were delighted the house exceeded our expectations! The rooms were all very well furnished, the reclaimed wood was gorgeous, the kitchen was fit for a chef, and the location was unbeatable. The window in the main room with a straight shot view of the valley, waterfall (frozen), and mountain ridges were the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and for the rest our stay. The house was very comfortable in all aspects, making it a perfect setting, far enough away to feel secluded, but close enough for a brisk walk to town, even in the snow. Additionally, the house manager was very attentive and a pleasure to interact with, making the details of getting in and out very easy. I highly recommend this home for all, we will be back!

Great house that is well appointed, comfortable and worked really well for two families with small children. Very attentive manager who dealt quickly with relatively small problems that arose during trip. Note as of July 2023, there is a considerable amount of construction in the neighborhood including a house directly across the driveway that produced substantial construction noise and dust, music, and car truck traffic during the work day. I wish I was made aware of this unpleasant condition prior to the rental. Based on the current status of construction, I would expect the work to last thru the summer 2023.

5 weeks in Telluride

We had 5 whirlwind weeks of a revolving door of family and friends stay with us in Telluride. The home was perfectly decorated and well set up to accommodate our guests - all with private bedrooms and baths. The kitchen was great for cooking and nicely equipped with every culinary need. The location was amazing for walking into town, to the many hikes throughout the canyon and simply to enjoy the fantastic views! We had a few issues with the home, but the house manager, Denise, and the house caretaker, Steve (and his pup Tonto!) were so unbelievably responsive, resourceful and compassionate. They are true gems to the owners! All in all, our time spent in Telluride provided memories to last a lifetime for us as well as our family & friends. It's truly a special place!!!

Great house!

We had a group of 11 and the house was perfect. The bathrooms in each bedroom were great. We enjoyed the hot tub nightly and large living / kitchen area we all could gather. The walk down to the bus stop each morning was an easy 10min down hill walk. After a long day of skiing the walk back up was a little more of a work out.
